IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show a harbour in 2000 and how it looks today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

 

 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The illustration presents that how Porth Harbour was in 2000 and at present how much it is changed.

Overall, The docks are two to excess the boats, the public beach was converted to private beach for hotel at present. However, area for the Port remained same.

In 2000, there was one dock at present it is converted to two docks to convenient for passenger ferries. On the south side of port there was beach for public at present it is only for people who stayed in hotel. Now beside the lifeboat area there is a cafes and shops on the left side. It switch fishing and marina private yachts with each other change the locations.

Both the car parking area are remained same place. Therefore, now there is one more showers and toilets right next to the large car parking space. On the south side the castle was not in used in past now it is used as a hotel.
