IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show a harbour in 2000 and how it looks today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

 

 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The maps below shows the past and present of the Porth harbour.

Overall, we can see their are many different types of changes are occur at the harbour like new hotel has been build, new dock has been build and many more which have described in further paragraph.

In detail, we can see that their are many changes are happen. Firstly, their was just one dock is present but now a new dock has been build beside the old one. Second change is made at the west side, in 2000 entrance of car park was from road but now new entrance allocated from the main road. Thirdly the changes are of swapping locations between the marina and fishing boats, beside the car park a new showers and toiles has been build. A new cafes and shops have been build with lifeboat. A brand new road has build along the road and at the end of the a new hotel were build which replaced castle which disused and the private beach has been assign to the hotel.
