The diagram below illustrate a site known as Porth Harbour in the year 2000 it describes how the site look in the year 2000 and how it looks after manufacture and today.

So if we discussed about the changes that are make so first of fall from the main roads three links are produced that goes to three different sites so there is a lot of space for the vehicles to travel which reduces the traffic conjections. And there are two shower toilets now which helps people to access to them and if we look upon cafe and shops they are also avaliable now days which proves very impressive because after getting tired people needs refreshment. And there is also a hotel on one side of the beach that is away from noisy areas so the people who comes to live their enjoy without any disturbance and there also a setup of private beach so the people living in the hotels can enjoy it.And if we look at the fishing boats they are close to the cars parks and the private yachts are close to shops.

So if we look upon the overall progress the cite now days have all the features that meets the intended needs of the customer.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.5

The response attempts to describe the changes to Porth Harbour, but it fails to meet the requirements of an Academic Task 1 report. Instead of providing an objective summary of the visual data, the tone is overly subjective and conversational (e.g., 'which proves very impressive'). The description lacks precision; for instance, it mentions 'three links' and 'two shower toilets' without clearly referencing the spatial layout or comparing the 2000 map to the current one effectively. The report lacks a clear overview of the main trends, focusing instead on personal commentary about the convenience of the facilities. To improve, focus on describing the physical changes (additions, removals, relocations) using neutral, descriptive language.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The response is written as a single block of text, which makes it difficult to follow. There is no clear paragraphing to separate the introduction, the body, and the overview. Cohesive devices are used in a very repetitive and mechanical way, such as the frequent use of 'And' to start sentences and 'So if we look upon' to transition between ideas. The logical progression is weak because the information is presented as a list of features rather than a structured comparison of the two time periods. Using a wider range of linking words and organizing the response into distinct paragraphs would significantly improve the flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often inappropriate for an academic report. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'manufacture' (which is incorrect in the context of site development) and 'conjections' (a misspelling of 'congestion'). The phrasing is informal and repetitive, relying on basic words like 'things', 'sites', and 'setup'. To reach a higher band, you should use more precise terminology related to urban planning and map description, such as 'redeveloped', 'expanded', 'constructed', or 'transformed', and avoid conversational fillers like 'if we discussed about'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'the diagram... illustrate', 'people needs'), incorrect verb tenses (e.g., 'the changes that are make'), and awkward sentence structures. Punctuation is also problematic, with many run-on sentences and a lack of proper capitalization. While some simple sentences are clear, the attempt at more complex structures often results in errors. Focusing on basic sentence construction, ensuring subject-verb agreement, and using correct tense forms for describing past and present states is essential for improvement.
