The plans below show a harbour in 2000 and how it looks today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The two images illustrates the development work which have occured in harbour in the span of 25 years. Noticing the key difference in the architecture of harbour it is safe to say that porth harbour has equipped some major advancements for public safety, accomodation and convinience.
One of the notable changes includes the addition of refurnishing of disused castle in to a hotel which serves as a primary accomodation spot for public which also allows people staying in hotel to access a private beach. Moreover, showers & toilets area is added to facilitate more people. Additionaly a dock station has been introduced as well contrary to only one dock station this will by allowing more public to make commute thorugh ferries.
The porth harbour was missing a restaurant or convinient shops in 2000, but now is built. This addition of cafes and shop would be a useful spot in the whole port. Now that, Cafes and shops are built within the port, it'd save both time and extra effort of tourist and people won't have to worry about food and drinks arrangments.
