The plans below show a harbour in 2000 and how it looks today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
the two map highlights the harbour in 2000 and in the present day.
Overall, the area shows a development in every part. There has been an addition and removal of sudden area and it is alos visible that there has a shift in some places.
In 2000, the porth harbour included public beach, two passenger ferries and dock. While in the present public beach remain same however there is a shift change in dock and more passenger ship are there in northside. furthermore in 2000, castle (which are not used anymore), lifeboat which is connected to road and public beach are located in the southeast. Whereas the place is now transform with the addition of hotels which is now connected to road, cafes and shops. Castle has been removed and public beach is converted into private. however road and lifeboat remained same. Similarly in 2000, main road are connected with car park and also the area has showers and toilets with marine(which is a private yachts) and fishing boats are also available in south side. Though same area has not change is the prsent day such as car park which is not connected to road now. Initally there is an addition of showers and toilets for public and fishing boats and marine has exchange there spot.
