IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show a harbour in 2000 and how it looks today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given graphs represent the data of harbour in 2000 to present date.
There are some changes occure in today porth harbour map. In first map beside the main road there are two car park zone and one is shower and toilets area, but today there is one more shower and toilets area were made. After that Marian private yachts shifted from north to south as well as fishing boats too. The public beach and passenger ferries are at the same place.
On the other hand, there is one big change on the road which is connected with main road, the cafes and shops were made next to the lifeboat and castle converted in to hotel and the public beach shifted in to private beach for the hotel.
To conclude that some changes happen to the East side. Cafes and shops newly made and also disused castle truns in to hotel.
