The two maps compares the development at today's harbour from 2000.

Overall, Harbour undergoes some significant changings in some areas for instance, increasing their boat capacity and converting castle in to a hotel which includes making public beach a private beach specifically for the hotel. Most of the alteration occur at the east south area of the harbour as compare to the other part of the harbour .Furthermore the harbour remain tour friendly area mainly focus on entertainment and transportation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You identify several important changes and give an overall summary, including the conversion of the disused castle into a hotel and the change from a public to a hotel beach. You also note that the harbour’s facilities and boat capacity have changed. However, some key details are inaccurate or unclear: the marina and fishing-boat areas have switched locations, but your final sentence suggests they remain as before, and the extra jetty and two boats at the dock are not clearly reported. The claim that more showers and toilets were built near the fishing boats also misplaces the facilities. To strengthen the response, describe the main north–south relocation accurately and distinguish the unchanged north-eastern public beach from the southern beach that became private.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is an attempt to organise the response with an overview followed by details, and linking expressions such as “Overall,” “Moreover” and “Furthermore” show awareness of how to connect ideas. However, the progression is difficult to follow because locations and changes are grouped loosely rather than described in a clear order. The second paragraph moves from the south and west to the dock, then to cafés and shops, and finally to the eastern and northern areas. Some connections are also unclear, particularly “they also extra boat along with dock.” Use separate, focused paragraphs and organise details by area or by major change. Clearer reference to what changed and what remained would make the comparison easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some relevant map vocabulary, including “harbour,” “dock,” “private beach,” “hotel” and “transportation,” and you attempt more descriptive phrases such as “significant changes.” However, word choice and spelling errors sometimes make the meaning unclear: “changings,” “entertainment,” “castlle” and “tour friendly” are problematic, while “increasing their boat capacity” is not a natural way to describe the dock changes. Some phrases are vague, such as “more convenient” and “some areas.” Aim for precise terms that name the feature and its change, such as “additional jetty,” “relocated” and “converted into.” Proofreading spelling and choosing natural collocations would make your vocabulary more effective.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a mixture of simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “a private beach specifically for the hotel” and a cause-and-effect construction with “which consequently.” However, errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries are common enough to make several sentences awkward. For example, “The two maps compares” should use a plural verb, and “Most of the alteration occur” needs plural agreement. The sentence beginning “If we are looking…” is incomplete, while “they also extra boat” lacks a verb. Punctuation and spacing also need attention, especially where sentences run together. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement and punctuation.
