Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is essential to have sufficient time for workers in weeked, would be possible when the government and private sector will impliment strick rules to extent longer weekend. I agree that working week should be shorter so that employees will be able to take care of thier families and own health.
The working culture in India is so poor that even on Saturday and Sunday employees are forced to work to complete thier on going projects. Thier should be strick guideline from government regulation to have mandatory weeked for two day so that staff will able to support family and maintain personal life along with work. For example, a team member from company needs time to support his wife and children on weeked then extended weeked will help him to be with family. Whereas shorter weeked will make him weaker and leads to decrease in his daily outcomes at work.
The Wage earner also want worklife balance that will incourage him to stay motivated and focus in task rather than on personal issues. I disagree with shorter weeked because it will be exploitaion and unfare for staff itself. In many case with these time. of working culture employees feel like thier working place as jail tied with 9 am to 5 pm time.
In conclusion, Longer weekend is much more better idea to follow beacuse it provide comfort, relax, balanced and stress free life. Through governments guideline it would be possible and it will be easlier to safe employees right instead of doing exceeded work in office, long working hours also not logically fare because in fixed salary how could a person compromise with thier personal timing.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is generally clear: you support a shorter working week and longer weekend, and you give relevant reasons involving family responsibilities, health, motivation, and work performance. The example of an employee needing time with his wife and children helps illustrate the personal benefits. However, the argument is not fully consistent: you write, “I disagree with shorter weeked,” although your introduction and conclusion support it. This makes your stance less secure. Some points also need fuller explanation, particularly the claim that a shorter weekend makes workers “weaker” and reduces their outcomes. Clarify whether you mean a shorter working week or a shorter weekend, then develop each reason with a more precise explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, supporting paragraphs, and a conclusion, and the ideas are broadly grouped by topic. Examples such as “For example” help signal support. However, progression is weakened by the contradiction between your stated agreement and “I disagree with shorter weeked,” and the second body paragraph shifts abruptly from work-life balance to exploitation and the workplace feeling like a jail. Some linking is also mechanical or unclear, as in “Whereas shorter weeked” and “In many case with these time.” Organise the body around two distinct reasons, use clear topic sentences, and make each reference explicit so readers can follow how each point supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “work-life balance,” “motivated,” “personal issues,” and “mandatory,” which helps communicate your main concerns. However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make the writing less precise, such as “impliment strick rules,” “on going projects,” “exploitaion,” and “fixed salary.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “take care of thier families and own health” and “safe employees right.” These issues sometimes make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and collocations; aim for precise expressions such as “protect employees’ rights” and “maintain a healthy work-life balance.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses with “so that” and “because,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, control is uneven, and errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and verb forms sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “It is essential to have sufficient time for workers in weeked, would be possible when…” joins clauses incorrectly, while “staff will able to support family” is missing necessary grammatical elements. The question “how could a person compromise with thier personal timing” also has an unclear structure. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check articles, agreement, and punctuation when combining clauses.
