Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued tha the working week should be shorter and weekend should be longer I completely disagree with that beacuse the whole system will face mismanagement and financial burdens in my opinion a hybrid system would be best solution for it,It will give workers enough time to spend it with their families.
Research say's over the globe main cause of divorce is not giving enough time and attention to the families this may be due to work burden or irresponsibilty. But to overcome this cause and reduce mental burden and give some time to workers to spend with families and go for vacation where he can work remotely and in free time.
However if the working week became shorter and weekend longer it will directly effect government and private organizations as it will take double time to complete a project and if it has to be completed on time then more peole will be required to do the job of one person it will effect organization economically. In the hybrid model if a person work can be done remotely like software engineer or technical engineer then one week onsite and one week remote work is suggested and for worker like civil engineer that can't be done remotely had to be 17 days onsite and 13 days holidays would be recommended solution.
I firmly disagree with the soultion with shorter weeks and longer weekends beacuse it would directly effect organization financially and also on the management side,in my opinion a hybrid model system would be best but it also should be designed carefully in majority of places around the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you disagree with a shorter working week and favour a hybrid arrangement. You give relevant reasons, including possible delays to projects and increased costs for organisations, and you offer examples of jobs that can or cannot be done remotely. This addresses the task, but the discussion is unevenly developed. The opening mentions family time and mental burden, yet the relationship between these points and your disagreement is not fully explained; the divorce claim is also presented without support. The proposed schedules—one week onsite and one remote, or 17 days onsite and 13 days off—need clearer justification and connection to the question. Develop each main reason with a specific explanation or example, and make the distinction between remote work and a shorter working week explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an identifiable overall structure: an introduction, discussion of family time, a paragraph on organisational effects, and a concluding position. Contrast markers such as “However” help signal a change in direction. However, progression is not consistently clear. The second paragraph shifts from divorce and family time to remote work without explaining the link, while the long third paragraph combines project delays, staffing costs, two job examples, and proposed schedules. Several sentences run together, and punctuation makes the relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Use one clear focus per paragraph, divide long sentences, and add explicit links showing how each example supports your position. A more direct transition from the family-time argument to your preferred alternative would also improve cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “financial burdens,” “mental burden,” “remotely,” and “economically,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also attempts at more specific terms such as “hybrid model” and “management.” However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural combinations are noticeable, for example “mismanagement,” “effect organization economically,” and “the soultion with shorter weeks.” Some wording is vague, such as “the whole system,” and “Research say's” is not an appropriate form for introducing evidence. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise phrases such as “operational disruption,” “increase staffing costs,” and “work-life balance” would help express your ideas clearly and appropriately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex structures, including conditional phrasing (“if it has to be completed on time”) and relative clauses (“workers like civil engineer that can't be done remotely”). This shows some range, but control is inconsistent. Errors in articles, agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries occur in examples such as “weekend should be longer,” “Research say's,” and “if a person work can be done remotely.” Several sentences are joined with commas or lack clear punctuation, particularly the opening and the long paragraph beginning “However.” These issues sometimes make relationships between clauses hard to follow. Practise building accurate complex sentences, checking subject–verb agreement and articles, and separating independent clauses with full stops or suitable conjunctions.
