Student answer (Band 5.5)
I agree with the idea of long weekends, while others oppose the idea. Today ill be explain both point of views in this essay.
On one hand, empolyees are the main works of the company. They are paid but quite honestly they are not animals and they companies should care about them as the compnay growth depends on the workers. Longer weekends mean fresh mind, stressless active thinking and sharp well rested body. It is quite avident that people work well when they are not worked up or being pressurised with hand full of tasks and deadlines.
On the other hand, company owners think that working long hours, being seated on the seat means the empoloyye is working. However, that in most cases the empoloye is just acting like he or she is working hard. There's a famous saying in comprate lang "Look busy, do nothing". This quote is to cheat the CEO's and make them think that they are working, not going to lie I have done such things. Anyways, working long days and hours is not equelent to more work done, like learning the body is capapbel to work only upto a cirten time. After that they just act like working to lack off.
To sum up what have been discused, I'd say employye are the roots of a company and with a healthy enviornment and the releafe of a long weekend could be considered a motivation to work hard. The thought of a long weekend is enough to boost them to get there work done and overall imporve company's growth and worker's mental health. It can be put as a "Win,win situation" for both company and workers.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is broadly in favour of longer weekends, and you give relevant reasons: workers may be less stressed and more productive, while long hours do not necessarily mean more work. The personal admission about pretending to work also gives one point a concrete example. However, the response does not fully develop the question of shortening the working week: it focuses mainly on longer weekends and contrasts workers’ and owners’ views, rather than explaining clearly how a shorter week would work or why you agree with that specific change. The opening says you will explain both viewpoints, but the conclusion does not weigh them or resolve that contrast in detail. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or example, and state your position consistently from the introduction onward.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “On one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a concluding paragraph. This helps the reader identify the broad stages of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the second body paragraph moves from owners’ assumptions to a saying, your own experience, and workers’ capacity without clearly linking each point. Some transitions are mechanical, and “To sum up what have been discussed” does not smoothly connect the conclusion to the argument. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s central claim, then explain and support it in a logical sequence. Clearer referencing and fewer abrupt shifts would make the organisation easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to work and wellbeing, including “pressurised,” “deadlines,” “motivation,” and “mental health,” and phrases such as “Win, win situation” help communicate your intended conclusion. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or informal choices make parts harder to understand. Examples include “stressless active thinking,” “hand full of tasks,” “lack off,” and “roots of a company”; these are not natural collocations in this context. There are also frequent spelling errors, such as “empolyees,” “evident,” “corporate,” and “environment,” which reduce clarity. Aim for precise, natural combinations such as “reduced stress,” “a heavy workload,” and “the foundation of a company,” and proofread spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use some longer sentence forms, including “It is quite avident that people work well when…” and the sentence beginning “After that,” so there is an attempt to connect ideas through subordination. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. For example, “Today ill be explain both point of views” has problems with the verb form and plural construction, while “They are paid but quite honestly they are not animals and they companies should care about them” contains unclear clause structure and agreement. In “To sum up what have been discused,” the subject and verb do not agree. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention, particularly in the long second body paragraph. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then build more complex structures.
