Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is often argued that. The working week should be shorter and worker should have a longer weekend. In my opinion, I completely agree with the view because if the working week will be shorter than the worker can work properly and work with focus and they also get time to spend with family and complete their personal work.
To begin with, there is a compelling argument that if the worker get time to finish their personal work and also he/she can make short time trip for family. This is because they have short working week and can relax at home. For example, a recent study by social media that showed more working people who had short working days went for a vaccations.
revealed that the worker get shot week for working than they will not take any leave for medical problem or family function. Consequently, it is clear that the working week should be shorter and worker should have longer weekend
Furthermore, if the worker get sufficent time to spend than they can work with full focus and energy this reason plays crucial role in supporting this stance. When the worker get short working week they get more holidays and in future they will not take leave for small reasons like head pain stomach pain etc. They will work with loyality and complete all work if they can not complete then also do work from home so it will get more help full and fell relax them. For example if any worker had take leave than they can complete work from home and get salary of that day without to reach at that place.
In conclusion , I firmly belive that the working week should be shorter and workers should have longer weekend.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument regarding 'medical problems' and 'head pain' is mentioned multiple times without adding new insights. While the position is consistent, the supporting examples, such as the vague reference to a 'recent study by social media', are not well-developed or convincing. To reach a higher band, you should focus on providing more sophisticated, logical arguments and specific, realistic examples that directly support your claims about productivity and work-life balance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive. Phrases like 'To begin with' and 'Furthermore' are used, but the internal flow within paragraphs is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and grammatical errors. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the connection between the study and the conclusion is disjointed. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one will significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There is significant repetition of basic words like 'worker', 'work', and 'short'. Some word choices are imprecise or non-standard, such as 'short time trip' instead of 'short trip' or 'fell relax them' instead of 'help them feel relaxed'. You should aim to incorporate a wider variety of topic-specific vocabulary related to employment, productivity, and well-being to demonstrate a more flexible command of the language.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'worker get' instead of 'workers get'), incorrect verb tenses, and missing articles. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage and sentence boundaries. For example, the sentence 'It is often argued that. The working week...' is fragmented. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb forms.
