Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people wants to enjoy the weekend for longer time and want to have working week for a very short period of time. I totally disagree with this option.
In today's era, people only wants to enjoy for long time and wants to have very minimum working time, but there are some people who are totally depending on their daily wages for their survival whose family will died if working week would become shorter as there are different category of people in the society, on one side the people who has enough fund to enjoy longer weekend and on the other side people with no enough fund to survive for longer time without working.
Another major factor is laziness, if working week would be shorter and weekend would be longer than many people would surely moved to the comfort zone and would wish to enjoy the weekend for more longer time. It will make them difficult to work in working period. Stress would become lesser if weekend would be longer but greediness is a human quality which would never be ended, so human will demand for longer weekend and this will continue forever.
It would also affect the countries economy as everything depends on working of human and every process would become slow as it also depends on human activity. For example it takes 5 days to open a bank account but if working period would be shorter than it would take more days to open a bank account and further many activity would also be affected as the process would depend on the bank account.
In conclusion, the situation in which we are working now is perfect for a human being containing a single day of weekend and six working days.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against a shorter working week. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention economic impact and the potential for laziness, the arguments are not fully extended. For instance, the example regarding opening a bank account is a bit simplistic and does not fully capture the complexities of national economic productivity. To improve, try to provide more nuanced arguments, perhaps discussing the impact on mental health or business operational costs in more detail. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not fully summarize the main points presented in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and repetitive. Phrases like 'Another major factor is' and 'It would also affect' are used to transition, but the flow between sentences within paragraphs is occasionally disjointed. For example, the transition between the discussion of daily wage earners and the concept of laziness is abrupt. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would help to improve the logical progression of your ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'enjoy', 'good', and 'difficult'. There are also some instances of awkward word choice, such as 'greediness is a human quality which would never be ended' and 'moved to the comfort zone'. To achieve a higher score, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and academic vocabulary. For example, instead of 'everything depends on working of human', you could use 'economic output is contingent upon human labor'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Some people wants', 'people only wants') and tense consistency (e.g., 'family will died'). Sentence structures are mostly simple or compound, with limited use of complex grammatical structures. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar and punctuation (such as comma splices) distract the reader. To improve, focus on mastering subject-verb agreement and proofreading for basic tense errors. Incorporating a wider variety of complex sentence structures, such as conditional clauses or relative clauses, would also be beneficial.
