Student answer (Band 6.0)
It has been observed that working hours in week should be shorter and employers should have a longer weekend. I agree the given statement. My inclination is elaborated in ensuring paragraph and relevant examples.
The foremost argument to justify my stand is that working for brief period boost productivity. This is because it reduces stress as longer work duration burnt out your energy and your capacity to do work effectively reduced. For instance, human can focus for limited time and this way they can perform better in short term task more beneficially. To add to this, longer rest period allows individuals to concentrate better on their well-being by doing various extra-curricular activities that will definitely rise the ratio of healthier population in a state. In particular, watching movies , reading books , visiting café to soothes brain and go to gym to maintain their fitness that is not feasible during working days.
Besides this, another point to justify my stand is that spending quality time with household unit enhance the relationship between parents and children. When a hectic employ came to home after 9-5 did not cooperate well with the family and in return juveniles experienced behavior issues that deteriorate their personality. On the contrary, shorter period of work at any cooperation will lessen its economic growth. Company lost various projects that got by other cooperation that was working even on weekends owing to their more availability.
To conclude and offer my position, it can be said that despite the fact of hurt to business, productivity of work , physical and mental health of person and healthy relationship with family are more logically acceptable.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The arguments regarding productivity and family life are relevant, and the counter-argument regarding economic growth is acknowledged. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. For example, the explanation of how shorter hours affect 'economic growth' is brief and lacks depth. Additionally, some points are slightly over-generalized, such as the claim that all companies would lose projects. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific, nuanced examples to support your claims rather than relying on broad assertions. Overall, the task is addressed, but the depth of analysis could be improved.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use cohesive devices such as 'The foremost argument', 'To add to this', and 'On the contrary' to link your points. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical or forced. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'Company lost various projects that got by other cooperation', where the connection between the subject and the action is awkward. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the internal flow within paragraphs could be smoother to ensure that each sentence builds naturally upon the previous one.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, including terms like 'extra-curricular', 'productivity', and 'deteriorate'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and awkward collocations. For example, you use 'cooperation' when you mean 'corporation' or 'company', and 'brief period' instead of 'shorter working hours'. Phrases like 'rise the ratio of healthier population' are unnatural. While your vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, the frequent errors in word choice and the lack of more sophisticated, precise terminology limit your score in this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, they often contain grammatical errors that affect clarity. For instance, 'When a hectic employ came to home after 9-5 did not cooperate well' is grammatically incorrect and confusing. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'working hours... should be shorter', 'human can focus') and article usage. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing around commas. These errors occur frequently and occasionally cause the reader to pause, though they do not completely impede communication.
