IELTS Writing Task 2 question
The working week should be shorter and workers should have a longer weekend.
Do you agree or disagree?

Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is argued that the weekend should be longer and workers should have a shorter working week. Here, I agree with this statement. From my perspective, longer weekends will help workers to take proper rest and improve productivity.
To begin with, I believe that providing more resting time is a perfect way to increase productivity. This is because when workers works for day on and day out with out proper rest they get really stressed and inactive which decrease the overall productivity of a company. In fact many research has shown that a company with properly rested and active workers are 50% to 60% more productive then normal workers.
