Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is argued that working week should be shorter and weekend should be longer. I totally disagree with it because two weekend is already enough to manage other activites and for rest.
Secong main reason is work load management.
Work load management is most important factor of all the works demanding to finish the work on time and preparing for the next work already five days are hardly enough to deal with deadlines, weekends cause delays like your work got 2 late.
So by shorting the weekdays it will be hard to deliver timely unncessary delays will be caused because of continous weekends.
Another reason is weekends provide more than enough time to tackle with other activites. In most part of the countries two day weekends are obersved provding enough time for the workers to get rest and to cover up their other responsibilites like house stuff and all.
If some countires have one day as weekends like in asia part Pakistan India observe one day weekend only sunday, it is very short so only these kind of country need to icrease these by just one day.
So if we talk about the whole world as major part has two days holidays so it more than enough no more needed.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you clearly state your disagreement with the prompt, the arguments provided are underdeveloped and repetitive. You mention work-load management and the adequacy of current two-day weekends, but these points lack depth, specific examples, or a logical conclusion. Because the response is under-length, the ideas are not fully extended, and the task is only partially addressed. To improve, you must expand on your reasoning with more detailed explanations and concrete examples to reach the required length and provide a more comprehensive discussion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is divided into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the progression of ideas is somewhat disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is limited and occasionally mechanical (e.g., 'Secong main reason', 'So by shorting'). Some sentences are fragmented or lack clear logical connections, such as the transition between the discussion of work deadlines and the mention of specific countries. The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult to follow the flow of your argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but remains quite basic and repetitive. You use phrases like 'house stuff' and 'all the works', which are informal and imprecise. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'activites', 'Secong', 'shorting', 'unncessary', and 'obersved', which detract from the professional tone required for an academic essay. To achieve a higher band score, you should aim to use more precise, academic vocabulary and ensure your spelling is accurate. Expanding your range of collocations and avoiding informal expressions will help you communicate your ideas more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include missing articles ('in asia part'), incorrect verb forms ('your work got 2 late'), and punctuation errors. The sentence construction is often awkward, which occasionally impedes the reader's understanding. For example, the sentence 'Work load management is most important factor of all the works demanding to finish the work on time' is grammatically cluttered. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence patterns, ensuring subject-verb agreement, and using a wider variety of complex structures with greater accuracy.
