Student answer (Band 5.0)
part 2
Today young people do not want more for whole week but they count more salary with longer weekend. I discuss both views in below paragraphs and
To begin with, in current time youngsters and employees are not want to cook all days in the week but they want full salary in some countries they give job for 3 or 4 days in week and pay on hours that helps people they also give permission to work with other place to fulfill there expenses and need & wants in foreign countries students are doing work with their jobs and can give some time to their hobby and personal life for example in India there so many younbers and influencers can do not work in any place just create content and earn for them with their daily routine and earn a large amount of money.
On the other hand, Companies pay full amount of salaries so they also want perfect work from their employees if company pay on the day of workers work, the employees make negative thing such as, low salary bad environment and etc. so company pay for whole week so workers have to make rules like if workers finish their given works in shorter time period so they have enjoy their after finish their full work.
I partially agree with this statement.
To sum up, company give on right to their employees like if they finish their given work in short period of time they are given weekend and so they enjoy their free time with their personal life but today people just want to make money with the bundle of work.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt but struggles with clarity and focus. While you state a position, the arguments are often disjointed and lack logical development. For instance, the mention of influencers in India is not clearly linked to the broader debate about the working week. The ideas are presented in a somewhat repetitive manner, and the connection between the arguments and the prompt is frequently obscured by unclear phrasing. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-supported point that directly answers the question of whether the working week should be shorter.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks a clear structure. The introduction is confusing, and the transition between paragraphs is abrupt. While you use some basic cohesive devices like 'To begin with' and 'On the other hand', the internal logic within paragraphs is weak. Sentences often feel like a list of ideas rather than a coherent argument. Paragraphing is present but does not effectively guide the reader through your reasoning. To improve, focus on using transition words more effectively to link ideas and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that relates back to your main thesis.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often imprecise. Phrases like 'count more salary' and 'make negative thing' are unnatural and hinder the reader's understanding. You rely on basic, repetitive language, and there is a lack of academic tone. While you attempt to discuss complex topics, the word choice is often inaccurate, which impacts the overall quality of the response. To improve, focus on learning collocations—words that naturally go together—and try to incorporate more precise vocabulary related to employment and economics, such as 'remuneration', 'productivity', or 'work-life balance'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('employees are not want'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are run-on or fragmented, making them difficult to follow. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often faulty, which leads to confusion. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that every sentence has a clear subject and verb. Proofreading for common errors like missing prepositions and incorrect verb tenses will significantly improve the clarity of your writing.
