Student answer (Band 5.0)
In today's life workers play a vital role in every field of life. If we need to construct a new building then we need a worker, additionaly on everywhere workers are essential part of life.
As we are all in hurry every one's want to complete their work in just few days. For instance in a new factory, manager want to complete the floor in three days and on the weekend workers request for a holiday but the manager wants completion so in this way working weeks should be longer. I completely not disagree with this statement but On the other hand i think working week should be shorter .
As we know the technology increased day by day so i suggest that workers should also be relaxed because mostly tasks are done by computer like in the early registers take all records also take much time to the compared of computer where done by in few seconds.
Further more a gardener planting , decorating and the watering whole day. if they take 2 days in the week it's cannot bad effact on the plants of garden.
Some works are essential and they have no concession in the whole week like a doctor, a nurse, a ticketer, driver, postman as well as police man . In this way they hire two person for one job in the absence of one other should be present on the duty hence they also have some relax and do thier work comfortabley.
To sum up where working week should be shorter workers should have also longer weekend.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt, but the position is inconsistent and confusing. In the second paragraph, you state, 'I completely not disagree with this statement but On the other hand i think working week should be shorter.' This lack of clarity makes it difficult for the reader to follow your stance. While you provide some examples, such as the gardener and essential workers, the development is limited and lacks depth. The argument regarding essential workers is a good point, but it is not fully explored to support the main thesis. To improve, ensure your position is clearly stated in the introduction and maintained consistently throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression of ideas is often disjointed. Transitions are frequently missing or used incorrectly, such as 'additionaly on everywhere' and 'In this way'. The connection between the introduction and the body paragraphs is weak, and the conclusion does not effectively summarise the main points or restate your position clearly. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, which hinders the flow of the argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, often relying on simple phrasing that limits the sophistication of your argument. There are several instances of awkward word choices and incorrect collocations, such as 'ticketer' (likely meaning ticket collector or clerk) and 'do thier work comfortabley'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the range is insufficient to express complex ideas with precision. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and improving your control over word forms and collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('manager want', 'everyone's want'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, which makes them difficult to read. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often inaccurate, such as 'it's cannot bad effact'. The punctuation is also inconsistent. To improve, you should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like verb tense consistency and pluralisation before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
