Student answer (Band 5.0)
Working has become an important part of everybody life especially for adults as it is something that is neccessary for everydaylifestyle as to bring salary. There are ongoing debut about the working period some group of people thinks that working week should be lesser and employees should have longer holidays or weekend. However, from my personal perseptive i completely disagree with this statement.
To began with, there are sudden of competition among different companies so to achieved sudden goal and aim the worker and company should work even more harder than others. Providing weekend is important however it should not more than working days. For instance, if the company or the working place has more working days the employees can have more time to complete their work during that time insist of working during free time and in addition to that the company will able to succeed more in the field and which will eventually beneficial for the workers. Through weekend or holidays are neccesary for the workers to relaxed and gain energy to work better in the field but asking for more weekend is detrimental ideas for both the companies and for employ.
Secondly, for massive and incredible success the one should work more patiently and harder than other and for that they should invest most amount of time in doing work than taking holidays. Meanwhile as i have mentioned earlier that weekend are crucial due to several reason, first the worker need break fir work to spend time with themselve and family and also to have more energy as before. Similarly they need space and break in their brain or mind so they can function even more better.
In conclution, it is important to provide enong holidays or weekend for the worker however it shoild not be more than working days.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by clearly taking a position against shortening the working week and extending the weekend. The writer attempts to support this stance with reasons, such as maintaining company competitiveness and completing work efficiently without rushing. However, the ideas are somewhat repetitive and under-developed, relying on generalised statements rather than fully elaborated arguments. For instance, the claim that employees can complete work more easily during standard working days rather than free time is stated, but its implications are not deeply explored. Furthermore, there are minor lapses in task focus due to vocabulary confusion (e.g., confusing 'weekend' with 'working days' in places). Overall, the response meets the basic requirements of addressing the prompt, aligning with the Band 5 descriptors where ideas are present but remain limited and under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays a basic overall organisation with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a brief conclusion, indicating some structure. However, there is no clear logical progression throughout the text, and transitions between sentences can feel abrupt or confusing. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or inaccurately, such as 'To began with', 'sudden of competition', and 'Meanwhile as i have mentioned earlier'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs is frequently faulty, and referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly with pronoun use. These features place the response firmly at Band 5, where organisation is present, but progression lacks clarity and cohesive devices are inadequate or overused.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and minimally adequate for discussing the topic of working hours. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary items, but these are frequently marred by noticeable spelling, word-choice, and morphological errors that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Examples of lexical inaccuracies include 'neccessary', 'everydaylifestyle', 'debut' (instead of debate), 'perseptive' (perspective), 'insist' (instead of instead), and 'enong' (enough). While the reader can generally extract the intended meaning, the high frequency of word-form errors and awkward collocations restricts the lexical score to a Band 5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent errors in basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and articles throughout the text. Examples include 'Working has become an important part of everybody life', 'some group of people thinks', 'to achieved sudden goal', and 'the worker need fir work to spend time with themselve'. Punctuation is also problematic, particularly with run-on sentences and a lack of capitalization for the personal pronoun 'i'. These frequent grammatical errors cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the response from achieving a higher band, placing it at a Band 5.
