Student answer (Band 4.5)
It is often argued that the working week should be shorter and workers should have a longer weekend. I completely agree with the idea that it will gives workers much more enjoyable time. I hold this view because of workers feel clamness and spend pretty good time with their families, both of which can have important effects an individuals and society.
The primary reason why i support this view is that having a longer weekend it gives worker clamness. This is because working time is hard to a long shift hours staff geting exsushted, stress, anxiety, and, depration. In many workplace, a substantial amount of time allocated to work, as it often necessitates the spending of a range of hours in the workplace such as a medical persons espesially nurse. Nursing is quite challenging profession, at the same time nurses are dealing with stressful situations with several patients. They dealing most of the time with stresses. Moreover, shorter working week its need for them clamness. For example, doing short hours work it would be a good decision for all employers.
Another important reason is that gives workers spending time with their families. In words, long-term hours for doing work it broke many families good relationship. This is perticularly important because family priority first, and having family is a sense of satisfactions. As a result, longer holidays can developed family bonding, produce breakup with any close relationship, and so on. although shorter week also impact a worker financial conditions due to short hours gave them less money.
In conclusion, long-term hours would be better for enjoying holidays with clamness and spending good time with families rather then spending longer week with working. I believe that aforementioned points are strongly supporting my view point.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the working week should be shorter to give workers a more enjoyable time and better family life. Key ideas are introduced, such as reducing stress for professionals like nurses and improving family relationships. However, the development of these ideas is frequently limited and repetitive. For instance, the discussion of nurses is somewhat disjointed and relies on over-generalised assertions rather than deeply extended arguments. The conclusion briefly mentions the financial counter-argument in a fragmented way rather than integrating it into a balanced body paragraph. While all parts of the task are addressed, the overall depth of exploration aligns best with Band 5.0 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, showing some structural organisation with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression of ideas is hindered by frequent mechanical and awkward transitions, such as 'In words, long-term hours for doing work it broke many families good relationship' and 'Moreover, shorter working week its need for them clamness.' Cohesive devices are often inadequate, inaccurate, or used repetitively (e.g., 'Another important reason', 'As a result'). Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the internal flow within paragraphs is frequently disrupted by grammatical errors, resulting in a score that sits comfortably at Band 4.5 to 5.0, best represented here by 5.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently impeded by word-choice errors and incorrect word forms. Examples include 'clamness' instead of calmness, 'exsushted' instead of exhausted, 'depration' instead of depression, and 'medical persons espesially nurse'. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary related to the workplace and wellbeing, but persistent inaccuracies in spelling and collocation strain the reader. The range of vocabulary is minimally adequate for expressing simple ideas, but lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. This performance is consistent with the Band 4.0 descriptors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The text displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are persistent, highly noticeable errors throughout the essay, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('staff geting exsushted'), missing articles, and incorrect prepositions ('spending of a range of hours'). Sentences such as 'doing short hours work it would be a good decision' and 'shorter week also impact a worker financial conditions due to short hours gave them less money' demonstrate a lack of control over basic clause structures. These frequent errors cause significant difficulty for the reader and reflect Band 4.0 criteria.
