IELTS Writing Task 2 question
The working week should be shorter and workers should have a longer weekend.

Student answer (Band 5.0)
The number of working days should be reduced, while employees should have a longer weekend. I partly agree with the statement because a shorter working week can provide workers with more time to rest, although it may not be pratical for every profession.
On the one hand, longer weekends result in better work-life balance because it give workers more time to spend with their families. It also provide them enough time to take adequate rest as they may concentrate better during working hours. Fewer working days can help people recover from work related pressure or stress and may restore their mental and physical well-being. They have the possibility to take longer tours with their families and enjoy a lot there as a result may reduce their financial burdens. For example, a person can perform the rest of household reponsibilities such as billing, going government offices or can bring groceries for the home while working four days in an office.
