Student answer (Band 4.5)

Generally its argue that shorten weekend is good or longer weekend and people are supporting both of concept with there own prospective that which is best for workers outcome.

As per as my prospective,I believe that workers should have longer weekend to take rest in order to relax themselve while they should need time to make roadmap there next work by planning they will do it with perfection as joblers also have there family to where they have to put there time and do responsibilities for this reason they required long weekend.for personal growth and growming.Employes needs gap to give a time to themseleve and evalute there past and rearrange there goals and target as to make there life easy and happy they should require loneliness and quality liesure time.Workers are exhust and stressed by there work and to keep there mental health maintained they highly required long weekend where they can rest, socialize and smooth there reelationship and also they do games to make them equilibrium lifestyle and this will help them to feel fresh which will be the positive effect on work as well as there own health and life dicipline.

Aditionally, no doubt some jobs required consistancy and regularity like emergency in hospitals and transport industry also demand it but there is alternative way to shift there routine like one team will on leave and other on work.

in conclusion to avoid demotivtion, depression and to get performance, willingnes and devotion towards work so for this working days should be less and weekends holidays should be more.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that workers should have a longer weekend. However, the development of ideas is limited by poor paragraphing and repetitive points. The main body consists of one massive, run-on paragraph that crams in multiple arguments regarding rest, mental health, family, and productivity without proper separation. While the writer touches on valid points such as reducing stress and allowing time for personal growth, these ideas lack adequate expansion and specific examples, keeping this criterion at a Band 5.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

Coherence and cohesion are severely hindered by structural flaws. The essay essentially features only an introduction, a single giant body paragraph, and a conclusion. There is a total lack of standard paragraph breaks to separate distinct ideas, which makes following the logical progression difficult. Furthermore, cohesive devices are weak, repetitive, or misused, such as 'As per as my prospective,I believe' and 'Aditionally'. Referencing is also confusing at times, such as 'to where they have to put there time'. These issues reflect Band 4 characteristics.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is basic and heavily repetitive, with frequent word-choice and spelling errors that occasionally strain comprehension. Examples of inaccuracies include 'joblers', 'growming', 'Employes', 'exhust', 'liesure', 'reelationship', and 'dicipline'. While the writer attempts less common phrases like 'equilibrium lifestyle' and 'roadmap', the high frequency of erroneous forms ('shorten weekend', 'demotivtion') pulls the lexical score down to Band 4. Basic academic concepts are expressed with limited flexibility.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

Grammatical control is weak throughout the response. The text is dominated by extremely long, run-on sentences joined by commas or lacking punctuation entirely, such as the entire central argument which runs for over 150 words in a single sentence. There are frequent errors in verb forms ('jobs required', 'one team will on leave'), articles, and sentence boundaries. Simple structures are handled with difficulty, and attempts at complex structures fail due to a lack of correct subordination and punctuation. This corresponds to a Band 4 level.
