Student answer (Band 5.0)
Doing work is one of the best thing in the life. Work brings a reliable satisfaction to the mental condition. By doing such chores our body remains physically fit and actine. I will expalin whether I agree or disagree with this context or not in below paragraphs.
To commence, I want to say about thr importance of work. Work is very crucial in the life of human beings. The weekdays should be more than the weekends. The progress of every nation depends on the amount of the work done by them. The founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam once said, work, work and more work until you succeed. First off all, if the weekends are in great numbers then weekdays the nation will come on the verge of chaos. The economy of the state will be ruined. therefore, in order to make our country to lead the global economy we will have to do more and more work. After that our state will become able to make progress by leaps and bounds. Additionally, by doing work it will aid us to stay physically fit, active and calm. It will also helps our nervous system to pick up things within no time. Furthermore, the future of our coming generations depend on the amount of work done by us today. Oue today work will provide more opportunities to our youngsters.
To put it in a nut shell, I personally contend that the working days should be greater in numbers than the weekends because our childrens are looking to us. They are making their parents their role model. Therefore, we will make sure that we will not do such tasks that will break the moral of our youth.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The candidate addresses the prompt by clearly taking a stance against shortening the working week, supporting their argument with reasons such as economic growth, national progress, and personal health. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive, leaning heavily on generalisations without deep elaboration. For instance, the statement 'if the weekends are in great numbers then weekdays the nation will come on the verge of chaos' is an overstatement that lacks nuance. The position is stated, but the arguments rely on simple assertions rather than fully extended analysis. This aligns best with the Band 5 descriptors, where ideas are somewhat limited and under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays some logical organisation with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. However, overall progression is hindered by repetitive transitional phrases and mechanical linking devices such as 'To commence', 'After that', and 'Furthermore'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the body paragraph is overly dense and contains a string of loosely connected ideas rather than a structured flow of arguments. Referencing is occasionally unclear, as seen in phrases like 'our today work'. While there is an overall structure, the inadequate and sometimes clumsy use of cohesive devices points directly to Band 5.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, with frequent lexical and collocational errors that restrict the precision of the response. Examples include 'actine' instead of 'active', 'in the life' instead of 'in life', 'Oue today work', and 'break the moral' instead of 'morale'. The candidate attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'leaps and bounds' and 'verge of chaos', but these are overshadowed by frequent errors in word choice and spelling. The lexical range is minimally adequate for the task, fitting the Band 5 criteria due to noticeable errors that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The text shows a mix of simple sentence forms and attempted complex structures, but grammatical accuracy is weak. There are frequent errors in verb forms, articles, and subject-verb agreement, such as 'Doing work is one of the best thing', 'the amount of the work done by them', and 'our childrens'. Punctuation is generally functional, but errors are frequent enough to cause some difficulty for the reader and impede fluent reading. Complex structures are often faulty, placing this response firmly in the Band 5 category for grammatical range and accuracy.
