Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this contemporary society, the issue of reducing working hours as well as extending weekends has become a topic. I partially agree with this notion.
Initially, there are several reasons why shorter working week can be benefical. Firstly, employees can recover thier self as well as lean new thinks. Having longer weekend provide for meet new people. Secondly, They can often spend qualitiy time with thier family as well as friend. However, they can maintain thier physical fitness in during longer weekend. For instance, individual who work full time in the company so after longer weekend they may return to work feeling fresh and littel bit motivate. Therefore, longer week off play significant role in employees.
On the other hand, implementing this change may create certain challanges. First and formal problem is that, in this modren time many businesses are fully depend on worker because some manufacturing company countinuously make produces. Secondly, in all the hospital require full time due to the some emergences need staff. Therefore, they cannot provide longer weeked.
In conclustion, Aluthough, implementing this changes should create certain issues. Moreover I believe that longer weeked get chance to relax and spend quality time with thier family as well as friends.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the task only partially, and importantly, it fails to meet the minimum length requirement of 250 words, coming in at only 203 words. While the writer presents a partial position, the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the points about health benefits and manufacturing constraints are introduced with very little elaboration or supporting evidence. To achieve a higher band, the writer must extend and develop every main idea fully with relevant examples and ensure the length requirement is comfortably exceeded.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some basic organisation with distinct paragraphs, but the response lacks a clear overall progression. Cohesive devices are frequently inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive, such as the mechanical use of 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'Finally', alongside transitions like 'First and formal problem'. Referencing is also weak at times, making the logical links between sentences occasionally unclear. To move up, the writer needs to employ a wider range of cohesive devices more flexibly and ensure smoother logical transitions from one paragraph to the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited in range and minimally adequate for the task. There are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text that cause some difficulty for the reader, such as 'benefical', 'thier', 'lean', 'thinks', 'qualitiy', 'littel', 'motivate', 'challanges', 'modren', 'depend', 'countinuously', 'produces', 'emergences', and 'Aluthough'. These frequent inaccuracies prevent the piece from achieving a higher band. To improve, the student must expand their lexical repertoire and pay closer attention to word formation, spelling, and standard collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying primarily on simple sentences alongside faulty attempts at complex forms. Frequent errors occur in verb forms, articles, prepositions, and singular/plural agreements, such as 'longer weekend provide for meet', 'individual who work full time in the company so after', and 'longer weeked get chance'. These errors cause frequent strain and difficulty for the reader. To progress, the writer needs to incorporate a wider variety of complex sentence structures while improving grammatical accuracy and control over punctuation and subject-verb agreement.
