Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, many people have their work stress and they feel tired. So, giving them a three days weekend can be good and four working days are enough for the employees to compelete their work.
Firstly there are many organizations which preffered that their should be longer working week because they think that by adding a more day can increase their income. But, there are many emplyoees who work in these types of companies and left them in few months because the emplyoees were not happy by doing this type of work. So, the organizations which gives a long weekend and or even give holidays to their employees are getting more benefits then the others.
Moreover, by giving bonuses to the employees on their hard work and good work make the employees happy and more loyal to the company. The free madical of the the workers and giving holidays to them make the company advertisment more wealthy. And also the customers are satisfied when the workers do their work with honesty.
So, in my opinion it is best to give a longer weakend to the workers and shorter working week because it will make the workers more satisfaction and make them reliable. For example, a IT company in Pakistan gives a two days of weekend and others give on one days holiday. But, the IT company is getting double then the others because its workers are loyal to its company and they are satisfied with their jobs. So, they do their best for the company and its performance.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you support a shorter working week and longer weekend, and you give relevant reasons, including reduced stress, employee loyalty and company performance. The example of the Pakistani IT company also helps illustrate your view. This addresses the main question, but some points are asserted rather than explained. For instance, you say that companies offering longer weekends “are getting more benefits,” without specifying what those benefits are or showing how the shorter week produces them. The discussion of bonuses and medical benefits is relevant to employee satisfaction, but its connection to the proposed working-week change needs to be made clearer. Develop each reason with a fuller explanation or a specific example to make the argument more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an opening position, supporting paragraphs and a concluding opinion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Moreover” and “So” help signal movement between points. However, progression is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are combined without clearly showing their relationship. The paragraph about bonuses and medical benefits, for example, shifts from employee motivation to company advertising and customer satisfaction. Some linking is also mechanical, with “So” used to introduce both the opening and conclusion. Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, then explain and support it before moving on. Clearer references to how each point supports a shorter week would improve the overall flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “work stress,” “loyal,” “satisfied” and “performance,” so the main ideas can be understood. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear. For example, “make the workers more satisfaction” does not express the intended idea naturally, and “the company advertisment more wealthy” is difficult to interpret. There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “compelete,” “preffered” and “emplyoees.” Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing productivity, retention and work-life balance, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “when” and “who,” which allows you to explain reasons and consequences. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, agreement and articles sometimes make the reader work to understand the point. For example, “giving them a three days weekend can be good” has problems with the noun phrase, while “the organizations which gives” has a subject–verb agreement error. In “by giving bonuses … make the employees happy,” the sentence structure does not clearly identify the subject. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, correct agreement, and complete clause structure. More accurate control of these patterns would make your argument easier to follow.
