Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, the working week should be short and workers should have a longer weekend. This essay will discuss bothe views, I completely agree working week.
On the one hand, there are many negative impact longer weekend. First of all, long weekend make lazy people. They cannot pay attention on work. Secondly all day they sleep. Secondly, school children are spend time on video games and another games they cannot propperly attention on studies. For instance, when individuals stay at home long time they misbehave with families and quraller each other because when they free think many thoughts and depressed. As a result in first working day monday they feel lazy and tired so they are not work properly.
On the other hand, there are several positive effects working week on employees and students. However, when people on work they focus on work, they feel fresh because make routine after breakfast they go work meet new peopels and communicate with them these things develop social skills. Furthermore, students working week at school they participate different activities and study in the form of groups, discussion own their studies problems with friends so they feel relax. For example, working days individuals busy in works they active and fresh they feel happy. Hence they take care of yourself and take meals on time.
In my opinion, weekend is important because human need rest after long time working individuals feel tired. In contrast, they spend quailty time with families. In addition, longe weekend is not positive for us because it makes us lazy.
In conclusion, althought long weekend is not paly a vital role in the people life weekend is crucial but short time. To sum up Ibelieve that working days is best because individuals are busy they feel active happy and realx.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a broadly relevant response and state a preference for shorter working weeks, especially in the conclusion: “working days is best.” You also acknowledge that weekends provide rest and family time. However, the position is not consistently clear: the introduction says “This essay will discuss bothe views,” although the prompt asks whether you agree or disagree, and the body paragraphs focus on working days and weekends without clearly explaining how these relate to a shorter working week. Several claims, such as longer weekends making people lazy, are asserted rather than supported with convincing explanation or a specific example. To strengthen the response, state your degree of agreement directly and develop two relevant reasons with clearer evidence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. You also use signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because ideas are repeated or joined without clear relationships. For example, the second body paragraph moves from work routines to students’ group activities and then to meals, without explaining how each point supports the argument. “Secondly” is repeated, and “However” does not clearly signal the contrast intended at the start of the next paragraph. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it, using linking phrases only where they accurately show the connection.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “weekend,” “employees,” “social skills,” “participate,” and “quality time,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “feel,” “work,” and “busy.” Some choices and collocations make meaning unclear, such as “long weekend make lazy people,” “they cannot properly attention,” and “working week at school.” Spelling errors, including “bothe,” “propperly,” “quailty,” and “realx,” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing rest, productivity and work schedules, and check spelling and natural word combinations. For instance, describe how a longer break may affect motivation rather than labelling people as lazy.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the response includes some subordinate clauses, such as “because when they free think many thoughts and depressed.” However, control is weak: errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement and articles occur frequently and sometimes make the intended meaning hard to follow. Examples include “long weekend make lazy people,” “school children are spend time,” and “they are not work properly.” Several sentences run together without clear punctuation, especially the sentence beginning “However, when people on work.” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one clear subordinate clause at a time. Check that verbs agree with their subjects and use the correct verb form after auxiliaries such as “are” and “do.”
