Student answer (Band 5.5)
I strongly agree that longer weekend enhance the performance of worker rather than working longer. In this world, everyone knows the value of work as well as rest but the entire focus remains on work.Sometime workers demand rest if someone give them this oppartunity they work frequently better.
Firstly, the biggest advantage of longer weekend is workers feel better and they can perform better in work. Moreover, they have time to spend with their family members. For instance, some companies provide longer weekend to their workers.Workers spend their major time with families, they feel better and this will increase the performance and company reach the success very rapidly.
furthermore,it will increase job satisfaction as well.when worker spend their time with family, pursuing hobbies, they satisfy with their job.Job satisfaction can increase the productivity of worker and they use their mind properly.
next, stress and frastration will be gone entirly because worker feel better they can reduce all stress and frastration on weekend.this can increase efficiency and job satisfaction.these all things are co-related job satisfaction, mental health, productivity.
In conclusion, shorter working days and longer weekend increase the rate of success and also productivity

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear from the opening—“I strongly agree”—and you give relevant reasons, including family time, job satisfaction and reduced stress. However, these points are mostly asserted rather than explained or supported with specific examples; the reference to “some companies” remains general. The response therefore addresses the question only partially, with ideas that are limited and under-developed. The conclusion repeats the view but does not add a developed final point. Also, the response contains 181 words, so it does not meet the 250-word minimum. Develop each reason with a clear explanation and a concrete example, and ensure the essay reaches the required length.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for benefits, and a conclusion. The ideas also follow a broadly logical sequence, moving from well-being and family time to job satisfaction and stress. Linking expressions such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” and “Furthermore” help signal this progression. However, the connections can feel mechanical, and some references are unclear—for example, “these all things are co-related” does not specify how the listed benefits relate. The final body paragraph also runs several ideas together. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each explanation directly to its main point, and vary linking methods so the organisation feels more natural.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a relevant set of topic words, including “performance,” “job satisfaction,” “productivity,” and “efficiency,” which helps communicate the main argument. However, the range is limited and some expressions are inaccurate or repetitive, such as “workers feel better,” “increase the performance,” and repeated use of “stress and frustration.” Spelling errors—including “oppartunity,” “frastration,” and “entirly”—also make the writing less clear and precise. Aim for more natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, you could describe workers as “more rested,” say that a schedule “improves productivity,” and explain that time off “helps relieve stress.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, and the reader can generally follow your main meaning. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, agreement, articles and punctuation. For example, “longer weekend enhance” needs a plural subject and verb agreement, while “when worker spend their time” needs an article or plural form and a matching verb. Several sentences are joined with commas or full stops inappropriately, as in “they feel better and this will increase the performance and company reach the success very rapidly.” Practise building accurate complex sentences with clauses such as “because” and “which,” and check subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries.
