Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is sometimes argued that the working days should be less so the workers can have much longer weekend than it used to. I completely disagree with this view, because there will be more burden on employees and have also negative impact on country economy.
The main reason I reject this view is that managing more work in less day will be stressfull for employee. This is because when you don't work or complete the task on a daily baises it will be stack on your shoulders. As a result, outcome of employees will be effect badly. For example if a person is not going to office for the past 3 days, so now he has to manage those days task it may be affect the ongoing task. This clearly shows that it will be burden on employee and he will trying to remove without assuring the quality.
Another important condsideration is that expanded weekend will also affect the economic state of country in a negative way. In other words, closing worksatation for many days will drop the GDP of that nation. For example if country has 6 days of working and now they shifted to 3 days to work and other will be waste. Consequently, It will increase the inflation. Which is why I am convienced that week should not be shrink.
In conclusion, I strongly disagree with the idea that expanding weekend and shrinking working days, since work will be stack on table and effect the economy of nation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction to the conclusion: you disagree because a shorter working week could increase pressure on employees and harm the economy. Both reasons are relevant, and you include examples to support them. However, the employee-pressure argument is not fully explained: the example of someone absent for three days does not clearly show why a shorter, planned working week would create a heavier workload. The economic point also needs more careful development; the claim that fewer working days would lower GDP and increase inflation is asserted rather than explained. Clarify how reduced working time would affect output, and acknowledge that the impact may depend on how work is reorganised. This would make the response more fully supported.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion that restates your position. Linking phrases such as “The main reason,” “Another important consideration,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the argument, and the ideas generally progress in a logical order. This already gives the essay a coherent framework. Some connections are less clear within sentences, however: “For example if a person is not going to office for the past 3 days, so now…” combines an example and result awkwardly, while “Which is why” begins a sentence fragment. The repeated references to burden and economic harm also make the progression somewhat mechanical. Use clearer sentence boundaries and connect each example directly to the claim it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “employees,” “outcome,” “GDP,” “inflation,” and “economic state,” and the reader can generally understand your main points. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “work will be stack on your shoulders,” “closing worksatation,” and “other will be waste.” There are also spelling errors such as “stressfull,” “baises,” and “convienced.” Aim for more precise phrases for workload, productivity, and economic output, and check spelling carefully. Using a wider range of accurate expressions would make the argument clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including cause-and-effect structures such as “This is because…” and “As a result…”. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation sometimes make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “there will be more burden on employees and have also negative impact” lacks a clear parallel structure, while “he will trying to remove” has an incorrect verb form. In “For example if a person is not going to office…,” the conditional construction and punctuation are also problematic. Practise building accurate sentences with one clear main clause, then add subordinate clauses and examples. Check articles and verb forms during proofreading.
