Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued that working week should need to be shorter and give them a longer weekend. In my opinion, working week should need to be little more work make them physical disturbe and less focus and i also agree that give them a longer break that they enjoy their weekend with their loved ones.
On the one hand, Working week need to be short because less days make them organise how to work on special days like working days, they just focus on these to their work and their taskl that assist them in their office work. For instance, when they know about that these days are working days thaey give them all theie effort and concentration. These things benefits both of them they are mote concentrated and the owner of the company will laso happy with their work because for the shorter time they feel little burden but after that they feel delight.
On the other side, After too many work employee feel overwhelm so, they want break to make their self relax. For example, more longer weekend give chance to spend more quality time with family and friends. They go to vacation for exploring world and meet to their loved one housees. The long weekend is also beneficial for theie mental health after hectic rountines. It is esential because after going to break they feel fresh and more concentrated.
Taking everything into account, Employeers feel more thrill when they goes to long weekend and spend quality time with their close ones also they are more active in work after coming to the break. Also, work for shorter time make them physical fit because for longer time they feel tired and less active.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is broadly clear: you support a shorter working week and a longer weekend, and you give relevant reasons, including reduced tiredness, improved concentration, and more time with family. The examples about workers focusing on tasks and spending time with loved ones help address the question. However, the argument is only partly developed. For instance, the claim that fewer working days make employees more organised is not explained in enough detail, and the point about physical fitness in the conclusion is introduced without supporting evidence. The opening is also difficult to interpret, so your exact view on reducing working hours versus compressing the same hours into fewer days is not fully clear. Explain this distinction and develop each main reason with a specific example or consequence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons, and a concluding paragraph. The contrast between “On the one hand” and “On the other side” helps signal the two main points, while examples are generally placed near the ideas they support. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several links feel mechanical. For example, the first body paragraph moves from fewer days to concentration and then to the company owner’s satisfaction without clearly showing how each point connects. References such as “these” and “they” can also be hard to follow. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each explanation explicitly to the main claim, and vary linking expressions so the organisation feels more natural.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “concentration,” “quality time,” “mental health,” and “hectic routines.” These choices show an attempt to discuss both workplace performance and personal wellbeing. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems make parts of the response difficult to understand. Phrases such as “physical disturbe,” “feel overwhelm,” and “more longer weekend” are not natural or accurate, while misspellings such as “thaey,” “esential,” and “rountines” reduce clarity. Build a bank of accurate workplace and wellbeing expressions, and check spelling and word forms carefully. Prefer precise phrases such as “reduce fatigue” and “improve work performance” over repeated general references to feeling “fresh” or “happy.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, and the response uses basic structures to communicate a consistent general opinion. However, the range is limited, and attempts to combine ideas often contain errors that make the reader work to understand the meaning. For example, “working week should need to be shorter” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “they goes” shows a subject–verb agreement error. Articles and plurals are also unreliable, as in “a longer break” and “less days,” and punctuation is often missing after sentence boundaries, such as in “weekend. In my opinion.” Practise accurate sentence patterns for expressing opinions and causes, then check agreement, articles, and punctuation. Shorter, correctly controlled sentences would improve clarity before you add more complex structures.
