Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You identify relevant advantages of more rest, including reduced stress, greater productivity, and more time for family, and you also mention possible lower pay and delays to work. However, the response addresses the question only partially: it does not clearly state whether you agree or disagree with a longer weekend, and the final opinion shifts to shorter daily hours while keeping the same number of working days. The reasons are listed but not explained or supported with examples, so the reader cannot see how they justify your position. The response also falls 101 words short of the required minimum, leaving the argument and conclusion incomplete. State your position directly, develop each main reason, and include a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some basic organisation: the response moves from benefits to drawbacks and then gives an opinion, with paragraph breaks helping to separate these points. The phrases “in one hand” and “in the other hand” signal contrast, but the overall progression is not clear because the final opinion proposes shorter daily hours rather than directly resolving the question about a shorter working week. Several points are compressed into one sentence, and the response ends abruptly at “keep the,” so the conclusion is unfinished. Linking expressions are also limited and sometimes awkwardly used. To improve, plan a clear introduction, one paragraph for each main argument, and a complete conclusion that follows logically from the discussion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a small range of relevant vocabulary, including “stress,” “work pressure,” “productive,” and “monthly payment,” which makes the general topic understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning less clear. For example, “more resting days” would be more naturally expressed as “more days off,” while “effect the productivity then the profit” does not clearly convey the intended relationship. There are also spelling and word-form errors such as “encourge” and “desicion.” Aim to use precise phrases for workplace effects, and check spelling and collocations carefully. A wider, more accurate vocabulary would help you explain your ideas with greater clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentence structures, for example the sentence beginning “in one hand, adding more resting days…,” and you use infinitive and participle forms to express effects. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to follow. The opening is a sentence fragment, and the final sentence is incomplete. In “work can take longer to be done,” the passive construction is awkward, while “workers can have more free time in the day and keep the” lacks a completed object or idea. Punctuation and sentence boundaries also need attention, particularly where several effects are joined in one sentence. Practise writing complete, controlled sentences and check each for a clear subject and finished thought.
