Student answer (Band 5.5)

In today's world, many people argue that employment in work place has limited and provide more weekend vacations to employeers. I agree this statement and provide some statements that why I believed employeers should have more vocations and longer weekend.

To commence with, one of the most significant reasons is workers have no burden of their jobs and they can relax and feel energetic after the hectic routine of regular week job. They spend time with their families and enjoy weekend to doing other activites. For instance, they can go outside like in the park, with their families and spend quality time with them. They have not concern about work in the weekend. If they have spend time happy and enjoyable, they feel more relax after the hectic routine of their work. Therefore, longer weeken provides exclusive facilities to workers.

On the other hand, some indiviuals argue that there are some drawbacks of longer weekends. Workers are not give more attentions to their work and the work is to be pending. Longer weekend provide more burden to the workers. Subsequently, they need to pay more attention to work and sometimes it causes harmful for their work. For instance, in many days, they can need work in extra hours because the work load is excusive amount. their responsibilities to doing work in those week. Howover, its also influence for their health.

In conclusion, longer weekends provides flexibility to spend quality time their families and also give the relaxation after their busy routine of week.It will be beneficial in the future because it provides some time in the weekend to recharge after the busy working routine.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You take a position in favour of shorter working weeks, and the first body paragraph gives relevant reasons: workers can rest, feel more energetic, and spend time with family. The park example helps illustrate this, so the response addresses the topic. However, the position and reasoning are not consistently clear or fully developed. The opening is difficult to interpret, and the opposing paragraph says longer weekends create a work backlog and extra hours without explaining how this relates to the proposed shorter week or weighing the concern against your position. The conclusion repeats the benefits rather than resolving that counterargument. Develop the central case with a clearer explanation of how reduced working hours could improve wellbeing or productivity, and respond directly to the drawback you raise.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting benefits and drawbacks, and a conclusion. Paragraphs generally stay on their stated topic, and signposts such as “To commence with,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “If they have spend time happy and enjoyable” does not connect clearly to the preceding point, while “Subsequently” introduces a consequence whose relationship to the previous sentence is hard to follow. The conclusion also repeats earlier points rather than drawing them together. Use clearer cause-and-effect links and make each paragraph develop one main idea in a logical sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “hectic routine,” “quality time,” “burden,” and “responsibilities,” and these choices show an attempt to discuss both wellbeing and workplace demands. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make meaning unclear. Phrases such as “employment in work place has limited,” “weekend vacations,” and “exclusive facilities” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling and word-form errors, including “employeers,” “indiviuals,” “activites,” and “weeken,” are also noticeable. Build a more precise set of expressions for working hours, rest, productivity, and workload, and check spelling and collocations. More accurate phrasing would make your relevant ideas easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including a conditional sentence beginning “If they have spend time…” and a contrast introduced by “On the other hand.” This shows some effort to vary sentence forms, but complex attempts are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “workers have no burden of their jobs,” “They have not concern,” and “Workers are not give more attentions,” where verb forms, sentence patterns, or agreement are not controlled. The conclusion also has agreement and sentence-boundary problems: “longer weekends provides” and “week.It.” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking verb forms, articles, agreement, and punctuation.
