Student answer (Band 5.0)

In such competive job market, It is often argued that days of working should be reduce to increase weekends days. I strongly agree with this view, mainly because it can help to fresh mind and also eclerate productivity.

On of the strongest reasons for my position is that working days cause people mind upset. This is largely because when a worker doing work throughout day and at night he does not spend time with faimly because he should fully tired and that time he need rest and sleep.

This demonstrate that worker need to time to spend with thier childern and 2 two days weekend are not enough for him.

A further considration is that when a worker doing work all of the day without taking any rest it amkes their mind upset and feel lazy. in result, it cause the loss productivity of their work and this thing is also challenge form him to deal with their manager in case of reduce performance. For Example, when a worker put all their efforts in work and at longer weekend he refresh their mind with thier childern it can help to increae productivity of their

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

Your position is clear from the opening: “I strongly agree,” and you give relevant reasons concerning workers’ wellbeing and productivity. However, the response addresses the task only partially because these ideas are stated more than they are explained. For example, the point that workers need time with their children is not developed with a specific example or a clear explanation of how a longer weekend would help. The productivity example is also unfinished, ending with “productivity of their,” so its intended outcome is unclear. The response is 56 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop your reasons. Explain each point fully and complete the example to strengthen your argument.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: you state your opinion first, then introduce reasons with “On of the strongest reasons” and “A further considration.” This gives the reader a basic sense of the argument’s direction. However, progression between ideas is not consistently clear. The sentence beginning “This demonstrate” repeats the need for family time rather than extending the previous point, while the later discussion shifts between tiredness, productivity and dealing with a manager without clear links. Connect each reason to its explanation and example, and use separate, purposeful paragraphs for the introduction, each main idea and the conclusion. The response also ends abruptly, so it lacks a clear final summary.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “productivity,” “performance” and “reduce performance,” and you communicate the general ideas of tiredness and time with family. However, the range is limited, and frequent spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make the message difficult to follow. Examples include “competive,” “eclerate,” “faimly” and “considration.” Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear, such as “working days cause people mind upset” and “challenge form him.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions such as “mental wellbeing,” “work-life balance” and “maintain productivity” would help you express your argument more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use some longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because” and “when,” which shows an attempt to explain causes and examples. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence construction, verb forms, agreement and articles. For instance, “days of working should be reduce” needs a passive form, while “when a worker doing work” is missing a finite verb. In “it cause the loss productivity,” the subject–verb form and sentence structure are faulty. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “in result” after a full stop. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for a complete verb and clear subject.
