Student answer (Band 5.5)
From the recent years weekend always shorter as compared to weekdays. Althoughg some people agreed that workdays longer as usual in order to growth and work life balance, on the other hand some people argue that weekend should be longer to spend much time with family and do extra curicular activities for sake of mental and physical health. In my perspective workdays are longer as usual because as an employee individuals have major roles and workload. In response to complete their tasks employees have spend longer working days.
The major reasons for longer working days are company's growth and individual's responsibility furthermore due to smaller working days workload on individuals should increased in which responce person should face health and mental issues. Another reason is that due to longer weekends employees may lazy and time managing problems due to most of time spend in leisure or free activities moreover it also decline your progress in terms of your creativity. For Instance: duceca software company who developed games they experiment on their employees by giving them longer weekend whereas the results are shocking and in responce employees had lazy and after long weekend they had not even performed well due to spending more time as leisure time.
In contrast some argue that weekend should be long so people spent more time with their families and do some extracurricular activities to maintain their health. Although employees had trapped in rat race and most of the quality time wated in office, after a long day they have not strength to spend some time in some physical activities as a result they become grom older rapidly.
In conclusion workingdays must be same like as usual in respect to growth of individuals furthermore it also reduces the workload of employee due to smaller weekends

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the question by presenting a position in favour of keeping the working week unchanged, and you also acknowledge the opposing view that longer weekends could benefit family life and health. However, your position is not consistently clear: the opening refers to both sides, and the claim that longer working days reduce employees’ workload because weekends are shorter is difficult to follow. The reasons about company growth, responsibility, and workers becoming lazy are asserted rather than convincingly explained. The example of “duceca software company” is relevant in intention, but its results are unclear and unsupported. Develop fewer reasons more fully, explain how they support your view, and make your stance explicit from the introduction through to the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph supporting your view, a contrasting paragraph, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “In contrast” and “In conclusion” help signal these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because several ideas are joined into long sentences, and the relationship between them is not always clear. For example, the discussion moves from shorter working days increasing workload to employees becoming lazy without explaining the connection. Some transitions, including “furthermore” and “moreover,” are used mechanically, while references such as “they” and “it” can be unclear. Use clearer topic sentences, separate distinct points, and make each sentence’s link to the main argument explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “workload,” “responsibility,” “extracurricular activities,” and “mental and physical health.” These choices show an effort to discuss workplace and wellbeing issues. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “longer,” “time,” and “employees,” and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “growth” where you mean business growth, “employees may lazy,” and “decline your progress.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “responce,” “wated,” and “grom” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of phrases for working hours, productivity, and leisure, and check spelling and collocations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, using clauses introduced by “although,” “whereas,” and “because.” This gives the response some structural variety, but complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts difficult to interpret. For example, “employees have spend longer working days” has an incorrect verb form, while “employees may lazy” is missing a verb. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “weekend always shorter” and the long sentence beginning “The major reasons for longer working days.” Aim first for accurate basic clauses, then add subordinate clauses carefully. Check verb forms after modal verbs, include necessary articles and verbs, and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
