Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, many people spend a large part of their lives in working. Some people believe that working week should be shorter and employees should have a longer weeked. I strongly agreed with this statement because it can improve the people's health physically and mentally, it provide people to confidence and help them to concentrate in their work. It also increase their production.
At the first, a shorter working week can help employees to maintain their healthy liife balance. Many workers spend their long time in workplace, which may affect on their life. As a result, they may little time with their families and they could be illness from the overtime working and they feel tired and stressed. For example, parents can take their children to park or visit to relative. It can make strenghten relation or people will be happier.
Secondly, have a longer weekend can improve their productivity. When employees work continuously without enough rest, they can be tired and unhealthy. They may lose concentrate on their work and make many mistakes. If a company introduced four-day work to find they has focused on the work and produce better results.
Moreover, shorter working week can have postive effect on the people's healthy and they spend quality time with their families working for long hours can cause of stress and exhausted. However, people should care their health with work. More relaxation can make lazier to the people.
In conlcusion, i strongly agree with this opinion that working week should be shorter and workers should have a longer weekend. In my opinion, this change would improve people's healths, make strong relation with families and help employees more work effectively. It can positive changes and progress our environment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction and conclusion: you strongly support a shorter working week. You address relevant benefits, including better health, more family time and improved productivity, and the four-day-week example helps connect the argument to workplace outcomes. This covers the main task, but the ideas are not developed equally. The family example is brief, and the productivity point is hypothetical (“If a company introduced four-day work”) rather than supported with a specific explanation or example. The paragraph beginning “Moreover” repeats the health and family arguments and introduces a brief counterpoint about becoming lazier without explaining how it affects your position. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate supporting paragraphs and a conclusion. “Firstly,” “Secondly” and “In conclusion” help signal the main stages, and the reader can follow your central argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and some linking is mechanical. The “Moreover” paragraph repeats earlier points and shifts abruptly to “people should care their health with work” and the possibility of becoming lazier. Connections between claims and examples also need to be clearer; for instance, the park visit is followed by “It can make strengthen relation,” whose reference is difficult to follow. Organise each body paragraph around one distinct reason, then explain and illustrate it before moving on.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “productivity,” “concentrate,” “overtime” and “relaxation,” so your meaning is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling problems make the writing less precise. Examples include “working week” without an article, “healthy liife balance,” “lose concentrate,” “make strengthen relation” and “positive changes and progress our environment.” Some spellings, such as “weeked,” “postive” and “conlcusion,” also distract the reader. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check word forms and spelling; for example, use “maintain a healthy work-life balance” and “improve productivity” rather than translating phrases directly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional example (“If a company introduced four-day work…”) and clauses explaining causes and results. This gives the response some structural variety, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Examples include “I strongly agreed” where the present-tense position needs a consistent verb form, “it provide people” and “It also increase” with incorrect subject–verb agreement, and “they may little time” where the sentence is missing a verb. Articles and plurals are also unreliable, as in “a longer weekend” and “their healths.” Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, articles and tense before adding extra clauses.
