Student answer (Band 6.0)

I strongly agree the statement that working week should be planned and regulated inorder to facilitate long weekend to employees. Each working week should be short enough and allow the employee to complete tasks in oder to relax on weekends.

Rather than working total week companies should regulate the work and provide with long weekend. This allows the workers to reduce stress and spend time with family. At my place many companies regulate their work and leave the employees free to spend weekends. This allows them to spend personal time with family allowing to build relationship among them. Additionally work-life balence can be maintained. By staying with family members the relations build and maintained.

Often working in weekends workers are tied and could not be able to concentrate on work. Engaging 7 days of their time make them to feel tied and lack their intrest on work. For example, work that done by taking breaks can get more chances of getting less errors than those of doing continuosly. Break in works refresh our mood and allow us to work more productively. On the otherside, one can stay fit by involving in exersises and games on weekends. Sports allow to stay fit and maintain good health.

I conclude by, working days should be limited allowing workers to take break on weekends to maintain good health, reduce stress and maintain work life balence.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the opening: you strongly support shorter working weeks and longer weekends. You give relevant reasons, including reduced stress, more family time, improved concentration and physical health, and the example about taking breaks reducing errors helps illustrate productivity. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained; for instance, the claim that family time builds relationships is repeated without showing how this supports the proposed change in working hours. The response also does not meet the stated 250-word minimum, which limits the space available to develop your reasoning and examples. To strengthen the response, explain what a shorter week might look like and develop one or two examples in more detail.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting benefits, and a conclusion that restates your view. The ideas generally progress from family life and stress to concentration and health. You also use linking expressions such as “Additionally,” “For example,” and “On the other side” to signal relationships between points. At times, however, connections feel mechanical or unclear. The repeated references to family relationships in the second paragraph do not add a distinct step to the argument, and “On the other side” introduces another supporting benefit rather than a contrasting view. Use transitions that accurately show the relationship between ideas, and make each paragraph develop a distinct main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “reduce stress,” “work-life balance,” “concentrate,” “productively,” and “maintain good health.” These choices make your main ideas understandable, and you attempt some topic-specific phrasing. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “inorder,” “balence,” “tied” where “tired” is intended, “intrest,” and “continuosly.” Some collocations are also unnatural, such as “regulate their work” and “relations build and maintained.” These inaccuracies keep the vocabulary from being consistently precise. Check spelling carefully and learn common combinations such as “manage workloads,” “build relationships,” and “take a break.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You use both simple sentences and some attempts at more complex structures, for example, “This allows the workers to reduce stress and spend time with family” and “For example, work that done by taking breaks can get more chances of getting less errors.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity and control. Examples include the missing “is” in “work that done,” the awkward construction “make them to feel,” and the incomplete phrasing “I conclude by, working days should be limited.” Articles and sentence patterns also need attention, as in “working week” and “allow the employee.” Practise forming clauses with accurate verb patterns and review articles, agreement, and punctuation; this will make your varied sentence attempts more reliable.
