Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You state a clear general position in “I am agree your suggesting,” and the response stays on the topic of a shorter working week and workers’ free time. You also give relevant examples, such as travelling, spending time with family and friends, and going to the cinema. However, the task is addressed only minimally: the reasons are listed rather than explained, and there is no discussion of how a shorter week would benefit workers or what drawbacks it might have. The response is also 78 words, below the required 250, so there is not enough development to support your position. To improve, explain each reason with a specific example and develop your argument across several paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The ideas relate to one central point—workers would enjoy more time off—and the examples of travel and cinema give the response some direction. However, the ideas are not arranged into a clear argument, and the short sequence of sentences does not show a developed progression from opinion to reasons and support. “Because refreshment of worker” is an incomplete sentence, while “And some enjoy” begins another point without showing how it connects to the previous one. Use an introduction, separate body paragraphs for distinct reasons, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “For example” and “As a result” can clarify relationships, but make sure each sentence is complete and each paragraph develops one main idea.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary connected with leisure and workers, including “refreshment,” “entertainment,” “traveling,” and “film industry,” so the topic is recognisable. There is also some effort to give specific examples rather than repeat only the word “weekend.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “in my prospectes,” “your suggesting,” “nore enjoining,” and “fresh released.” These errors make parts of the message difficult to understand and limit the precision of your vocabulary. Build a small set of accurate phrases for this topic, such as “spend quality time,” “take a short break,” and “recently released films,” and check spelling and word forms before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts a few different sentence patterns, including a reason clause beginning “Because” and a time clause beginning “when.” However, control of basic sentence structure is inconsistent. “Because refreshment of worker, the week of workers are minimum” is not a complete, well-formed sentence, and “In order to workers…” also lacks a grammatical main clause. There are recurring problems with subject–verb agreement and verb forms, as in “Workers most enjoy, when he will going” and “he is going to cinema.” Most sentences therefore require the reader to work out the intended meaning. Practise complete subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking agreement, articles, and verb forms in each sentence.
