Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, Many critics believe that companies should give more free time for employe to spend thier weekends with familay or friends. I completely agree with this statement, while giving more time to spend on workers have benefits.
There are a number of reasons why I believe the more weekend gives a large number of financial benefits. One possible reason is that If companies give more free time, employes get more time to relax and spend quality full time with thier familays or friends after finished the havey work in companie. In fact, when workers back to thier work after sepnding a great weekend the produaction has incarese significantly. Another reason is employes working speed has rise because more free time give them to rest thier body. Without workers satisfactions company can not get more output from employments

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You state a clear position—“I completely agree”—and give relevant reasons, including workers’ need to rest and the possibility of improved productivity. However, the response addresses the task only minimally: it does not explain clearly why the working week itself should be shorter, and the claim about “financial benefits” is not supported with a specific explanation or example. The final “In addition” is unfinished, so the argument has no developed conclusion or further support. The response is also 109 words below the required minimum, leaving the main ideas substantially underdeveloped. To strengthen your answer, explain each reason with a concrete example and complete the essay with a conclusion that restates your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some basic organisation: you introduce your opinion and then begin a paragraph giving reasons. Linking expressions such as “One possible reason,” “In fact,” and “Another reason” help signal the sequence of points. However, the overall progression is incomplete because the response ends with the fragment “In addition,” rather than finishing the next idea or providing a conclusion. The two productivity points also overlap, and the relationship between longer weekends and “financial benefits” is not made clear. Use separate, fully developed paragraphs for distinct reasons, explain how each supports your position, and add a concluding paragraph. This would create a clearer progression rather than relying mainly on a list of points.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “free time,” “relax,” “quality time,” and “productivity,” which helps communicate the general argument. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled expressions make parts difficult to understand, such as “quality full time,” “havey work,” and “the produaction has incarese significantly.” Some word combinations are also unnatural, including “more weekend gives a large number of financial benefits” and “workers satisfactions.” Aim for precise, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, you could describe “a longer weekend” as providing “more time for rest and family life,” and say that productivity “may improve” after adequate rest. These changes would make your ideas easier to follow.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a conditional structure beginning “If companies give more free time.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but the range remains limited and complex sentences are often faulty. For example, “after finished the havey work” needs a grammatical form such as “after finishing their demanding work,” while “when workers back to their work” is missing a finite verb. There are also problems with agreement and sentence construction in “the produaction has incarese” and “company can not get more output.” Practise forming complete clauses, using consistent verb forms, and checking subject–verb agreement and articles. Shorter, accurate sentences would help make your meaning clearer before you attempt more complex structures.
