The some people believe that working week should be shorter and worker should have a longer weekend,I am strongly agree with this opinion the working week should be shorter and worker have a longer weekend because,if longer the weekend worker can be more relax and less fatigue and they focus on work very efficiently.

Begin with, company should be give longer break or longer weekend,so this can help to employee to focus on work very efficiently moreover, longer break give employee to spend some time with family and friends enjoy their weekend. In addition after the long weekend they can focus on work very efficiently however, longer weekend help employee free from stress and mental pressure and they can focus on their health also like doing physical activities like doing gym and running that help to stay fit and keep them healthy.although comapny giving longer weekend the employee can learn new skills for example learning new technology AI,machine learning this skills help employee to stay with new trend moreover, learning new skill in free time.

On the other hand, their is several of disadvantages having long weekend the worker are focus on work that efficiently, the worker waiting for weekend not doing proper work or focus on work this can lead to any comapny loss of money futhermore, if employee are not doing work in proper manner this can lead to organisation loss.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear overall view in favour of a shorter working week, and you offer relevant reasons: more time to recover, spend time with family, protect health, and learn skills. You also acknowledge a possible disadvantage, namely reduced productivity and financial loss for companies. However, the position becomes less consistent in the conclusion, where you recommend a balanced weekend rather than clearly restating whether the working week should be shorter. Several points are asserted rather than explained—for example, the link between longer weekends and employees learning AI or machine learning is not developed. To strengthen the response, explain how the proposed change would work and support each main reason with a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an opening position, a paragraph supporting longer weekends, a counterargument, and a conclusion. This gives the reader some organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because many ideas are joined in long, loosely connected sentences. Connectors such as “moreover,” “however,” and “in addition” are repeated or do not clearly show the relationship between ideas; for instance, “however” introduces another benefit rather than a contrast. The counterargument also shifts abruptly from productivity to company losses. Use shorter sentences, organise each paragraph around one main point, and make references and transitions more precise to create clearer overall progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “mental pressure,” “physical activities,” “organisation,” and “new skills.” These choices help communicate the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “focus on work very efficiently,” “longer weekend,” and “worker.” Some combinations are unnatural or unclear, such as “more relax,” “free from stress,” and “stay with new trend.” Spelling errors, including “comapny,” “futhermore,” and “oranisation,” also reduce accuracy. Build a wider set of natural collocations for productivity, wellbeing, and working hours, and check spelling and word forms during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to express reasons and contrasts using clauses and linking words, but sentence structures are often faulty, and errors frequently make the relationships between ideas harder to understand. Examples include “I am strongly agree,” “company should be give,” and “the worker are focus,” which show problems with verb forms and agreement. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent, as in “working week” and “worker.” Punctuation is weak: several sentences run together without appropriate full stops or commas, particularly in the paragraph beginning “Begin with.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “although,” and “while.”
