Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued that employees working schedule should be reduced and there weekends should be expanded .I completely agree witth this statement because this would enable them to strengthen thier bonds with family and relatives .
To begin with, reduced working week for employees should be extended to longer because weekends assists them to spend plenty of time with family. They will strengthen their bonds and remain in close knot. For example, at the moment, teenegers are having weak relationships with thier parents because they are busy in thier works from which they cannot spend time with thier children and they cannot keep an eye on thier students. However, if governments reduced working hours this will probably support individuals to make friendly envirnment with their childrens. Parents are only responsible for children grooming and most individuals are lacking in this acivities.
Furthermore, extended weekends assists employees to release stress and enhanced overall producivity . Moreover, they can fulfill all responsibilities regarding to family and friends because they are very close to our heart .For instance, family reponsibilities includes providing all basic needs like households problems and sorting financial situations can gives him a sense of respnsible person. Longer weekends can also help to release stress and gives relax to mind because health is more crucial than other duties.
In the conclusion, I firmly believe that implementing shorter working week is a positive step forward , as it significantly enhances personal well-being and enables to work more efficiently after relaxing a mind as well as it assist to manage thier family responsibilities

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you completely agree that the working week should be shorter, and the conclusion returns to this view. You give relevant reasons, especially more time for family and reduced stress, and include examples about parents’ responsibilities and household finances. This addresses the task, but the support is uneven: the family argument is explained more fully, while the link between longer weekends and improved productivity is asserted rather than demonstrated. Some points are also unclear, such as the reference to parents being unable to “keep an eye on their students.” To strengthen the response, explain how a shorter week would improve work performance and use a more precise, directly relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. “To begin with” and “Furthermore” signal the main points, and the ideas generally follow a sensible order: family time is discussed before stress and productivity. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and connections within paragraphs are not always clear. For example, the move from parents’ work schedules to children’s grooming is abrupt, while the sentence about household problems and financial situations is difficult to connect to the claim about relaxation. Some references, such as “they” and “this,” do not clearly identify who or what is meant. Use clearer topic sentences and link each example explicitly to the paragraph’s main reason.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “strengthen their bonds,” “release stress,” “personal well-being” and “family responsibilities.” These phrases help communicate your main ideas, but the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning less clear. Examples include “remain in close knot,” “friendly environment with their childrens,” and “gives relax to mind.” Spelling errors such as “producivity,” “reponsibilities” and “respnsible” also reduce accuracy. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions for workplace outcomes and family relationships would help you express your ideas naturally and avoid repeating general terms such as “responsibilities” and “stress.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “if” and “as.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, there are some errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction. For instance, “weekends assists” should use a plural verb, while “this will probably support” does not match the past-tense “if governments reduced.” The conclusion’s “enables to work” lacks a clear subject, and “as well as it assist” has an agreement problem. Punctuation spacing and sentence boundaries also need attention. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb, then review agreement and tense consistency, especially in conditional sentences.
