Student answer (Band 5.5)
As per the hectic working conditios of workers, that the working week should be shorter and employers should have a longer weekend, i support the given statement.
To embark with, the working week should be shorter and employers should have a longer weekend because that will creates a good working condition for the workers, they will get a chance to spend more time with their family and friends which will keeps their mental health in a proper manner which will motivate them to do more work for their comany. for exapmle to work hard just a couple of days in a week will evuantually creates a good working environment for the workers that they already know that they will get much time after their working days will over, where they will spend time with thier family and close once.
However, if the workers have longer working week they will lose the motivation to do work because evry employer in any company deserves a better life for themselfes and for their family. fot example coorprate workers get two days a week to have free time in which they get rest and they do not get a chance to spend time or go out with their family because they are already fully drained for the whole week in which they only take rest on weekends.
On conclusion, the working week should be shorter and workers should have a long weekend because workers will have better minset to work in any working field which will leads to better working environment for the workers and the company.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear from the introduction (“I support the given statement”) and conclusion, and you give relevant reasons: more time with family may support workers’ mental health and motivation, while long weeks can leave employees drained. However, the discussion only partly develops the task. The first body paragraph repeats the benefits of extra time rather than explaining them in detail, and the second shifts to describing current weekend arrangements without clearly comparing these with a shorter working week. The examples are general rather than specific, so the reader gets limited support for your claims. To strengthen the response, explain how a shorter week could improve productivity or wellbeing, and develop one concrete example for each main reason. The response meets the stated length requirement; 11 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally relate to your position. You also use signposts such as “To embark with,” “However,” and “On conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is not always clear: the first body paragraph moves from family time to mental health, motivation and a broad example in one long sentence. The second paragraph’s contrast is also confusing because it begins with longer working weeks but then discusses workers having two days off. Repeated use of “workers,” “working week” and “because” makes the links feel mechanical. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it, using clearer references and a more precise contrast.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “motivation,” “mental health,” “working environment” and “fully drained,” which helps communicate your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “good working condition,” “do more work for their company,” and “better mindset to work in any working field.” Spelling errors—including “conditios,” “evuantually,” “thier” and “coorprate”—also make the writing less fluent to read. Try to use more precise phrases for the effects you describe, such as employee wellbeing, productivity and work-life balance, and check spelling carefully. Avoid repeating the same basic terms when a more exact expression is available.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, but the response relies heavily on extended structures that are often faulty, alongside a limited range of sentence patterns. For example, “that will creates” has an incorrect verb form, and “which will keeps their mental health” has an agreement error. The opening sentence is also incomplete or awkwardly constructed (“As per the hectic working conditios of workers, that…”), while the first body paragraph contains several clauses joined without clear punctuation. These problems sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Check subject–verb agreement, verb forms after modal verbs, and sentence boundaries when proofreading.
