Student answer (Band 4.5)

Iam fully agree in this statemen.the working should be shorter and workers should have a longer weekend.in many countries there is a one schedule of workers and company how the works in daily and when day are employer shoulld be leave

There are different types of advantages and disadvantages in this statements .first of all whenever i will prooved the resion of agree and disagree .in first the employment is work 13 to 14 hours in daily work who is full time job. thwre is no any leave time in this weekends only one day is off. the longers weekends are impact on company and government also .they hamper a personal daily routine and economic condition of owner and all over the company .there need a equall time to work and leave of weekends . its helps to both of workers and company .another impact is low of productivity and donot supplies in others country .

In the negative point of view its beneficial of employers because they spend alot of time with their family members and earn money also .the owner gave salary also .they impact on company .long time of weekwnds is also hamper of daily life of person they destroy of time . their time is spend on mobile phone this effect on person eye sighteness of brightness of phone

In conclusion there is a advantage and disadvantage in this statements this is beneficial of employer and hamper for company .in my point of view the company make a schedule to leave day and working day this helps both of company and employer.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You state a position at the start—“I am fully agree”—and return to a preference for a schedule that benefits both workers and companies in the conclusion. However, the response does not develop a clear, consistent argument about whether the working week should be shorter. It shifts between disadvantages for companies, benefits for employees, and concerns about phone use, without explaining how these points support your position. The claim that workers do “13 to 14 hours” daily and have only one day off could be relevant, but it needs explanation and a specific example. The response therefore addresses the topic only minimally; develop two relevant reasons and show clearly how each supports your view. The length requirement is met; 10 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response has an opening, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and phrases such as “first of all,” “in the negative point of view,” and “In conclusion” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, ideas are not arranged in a clear line of reasoning: the first body paragraph moves from long working hours to company impacts and productivity, while the next introduces family time, salary, and phone use without clear links. Some references, such as “they” and “this,” do not make clear which people or effects are meant. The conclusion repeats the contrast between employers and companies rather than resolving it. Group related points together and use linking phrases to show cause, contrast, and consequence accurately.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “productivity,” “economic condition,” “schedule,” and “beneficial,” which shows some awareness of the subject. However, the range is basic and several word choices or collocations make the meaning difficult to follow, such as “low of productivity,” “they hamper a personal daily routine,” and “destroy of time.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “resion,” “thwre,” and “weekwnds,” also reduce clarity. Aim to learn common phrases for this topic and check spelling and word forms before submitting. More precise expressions would help you explain the effects of a shorter working week without relying on vague or repeated wording.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the response includes some basic linking structures. However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make the intended meaning hard to understand. For example, “I am fully agree” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “the employment is work 13 to 14 hours in daily work” has problems with sentence structure and tense. Subject–verb agreement and articles are also unreliable, as in “the owner gave salary” and “there is a one schedule.” Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, with several sentences running together after full stops. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking verb forms, articles, and agreement.
