Student answer (Band 6.0)
The duration of working period for workers should be shorter and they should have longer weekend. I agree at huge extend with the above notion. So, in the forthcoming paragraphs I have supported my stand with reasonable justifications.
Taking into account the agreement side, longer weekends can help to provide better output by workers. In this modern era, people have working load and due to their hectic schedule they are not able to spend time with their family members and loved once. As a result, they do not work efficiently and with focused mind. So, longer weekends may help to rejuvenate their selves and results as quality of work in working proffesion.
In addition, longer weekends could help to work on their skills and hobbies. Nowadays, people do not get enough time to spend for enhancing their skills or interests, which can count as additional requirement in some aspects. For instance, a person can invest a good amount pf time on some skills such as communication skill or management skill, can help in several term related to office work and even in social terms.
Now, considering the disagreement side, shorter week period and longer weekends may turn into a trouble for employees as more working hours in weekdays. In spite of enough work load, people may get into problem if their could have huge amount of work in few days in week. It happens due to pressure of task completion. Therefore, employees may have hurry of finishing tasks in shorter duration of work.
To conclude, longer weekends may help workers to invest appropriate time for other people to refresh their mind and it can be beneficial for enhancement of skills and hobbies they have, whereas it also have some demerits like longer weekends borden employees to task completion in given period of time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that workers should have longer weekends, and you give relevant reasons, including family time, improved work performance, and opportunities to develop skills. You also acknowledge a drawback—that compressing work into fewer days could increase pressure—so the response addresses both sides of the issue. However, some points are less fully developed than others. For example, the link between time with family and producing better work is asserted rather than explained, and the skills example could show more specifically how this benefits workers or employers. The conclusion repeats the main points but does not resolve the concern about workload. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation or a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two paragraphs supporting longer weekends, a paragraph presenting a drawback, and a conclusion. This makes the line of argument easy to follow, and transitions such as “In addition” and “To conclude” help signal the stages. The organisation is coherent, though some linking is mechanical: “Taking into account the agreement side” and “Now, considering the disagreement side” announce the argument rather than connecting ideas naturally. Within paragraphs, the cause-and-effect links are sometimes unclear, particularly between family time and work efficiency. Referencing also becomes imprecise in phrases such as “their selves” and “it also have.” Use more natural transitions and make the relationship between each claim and its explanation explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “hectic schedule,” “rejuvenate,” “enhancing their skills,” and “task completion.” These choices show an effort to discuss work and personal development beyond basic terms. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear. Examples include “agree at huge extend,” “working load,” “quality of work in working proffesion,” and “longer weekends borden employees.” There are also spelling errors such as “proffesion” and “pf.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than more elaborate phrasing; checking spelling and learning common collocations for work, workload, and productivity would make your ideas clearer and more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “which,” “as a result,” and “whereas.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main argument is generally understandable. Some grammatical errors remain, especially with agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “it also have some demerits” should be “it also has some drawbacks,” while “if their could have huge amount of work” has an unclear and faulty clause structure. In “a person can invest …, can help,” the sentence needs a clear grammatical connection between the investment and its benefit. Review subject–verb agreement and build complex sentences around a clear subject and main verb. More accurate control of these patterns would make the argument easier to read.
