Student answer (Band 4.5)
If working week should be shorter and worker should have a longer weekend then whats happen. May be this is not better because if worker have a longer weekend then they would become lazy.
According to my perspective this is not benefical because if workers should have less working days and much holydays then they will become inactive and careless. because if someone forget its rotuine then they can not become a success in there life. If everyone become a lethargic then they should become careless.
Secondly if workers of any country can not work properly then this country can not be develop. If working weeks have been shorter then the weekend and if workers can not work routinely and enjoying weekends much then work at least they should become lethargic and care less. if everyone become a lazy then that country should be distroy and can not develop. Thirdly if working week should be shorter and workers should have longer weekend they can not be responsible for there responsibilties and become careless in their life.
If system is contiune like past and can not be changed like then everything is right butt if system has been changed then no body can develop there life and become a lethargic in their life. According to my perspective this is not good decision. because people can not develop their lifes and and

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You take a position against shorter working weeks, and the repeated claim that workers may become “lazy” or “careless” is relevant to the question. However, the response addresses the issue only minimally: these claims are asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific example, and the effects on workers and society are repeated instead of developed. The final sentence is unfinished, so the argument does not reach a clear conclusion. The response contains 221 words, below the 250-word minimum; 9 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. To strengthen your answer, explain one or two reasons in detail, support them with a realistic example, and complete the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: you state your view, use “Secondly” and “Thirdly” to introduce further points, and place a concluding opinion near the end. However, ideas are not arranged coherently enough to form a clear progression. The same point about workers becoming lazy or careless appears repeatedly, while the relationship between shorter hours, routine, and national development is difficult to follow. Several sentences begin with “if,” creating long, confusing chains of ideas, and the final paragraph ends mid-thought. Use separate paragraphs for distinct reasons, make each paragraph develop one main point, and use clear links such as cause and result rather than repeating the same claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
Your vocabulary communicates the central opinion, with relevant terms such as “working week,” “workers,” “inactive,” and “develop.” You also attempt less common words, including “lethargic,” which shows some ambition. However, the range is basic and repetitive, especially in the repeated use of “lazy,” “careless,” and “develop.” Several word choices or forms are inaccurate and make the message harder to understand, such as “holydays” for days off, “rotuine,” “distroy,” and “responsibilties.” Aim for accurate, natural phrases and vary your wording; for example, explain the specific effect on productivity or work-life balance instead of repeatedly labelling workers as careless.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to express reasons using conditional clauses, for example, “if workers have a longer weekend then they would become lazy,” and you use some simple statements to make your position clear. However, the range of sentence structures is very limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns. Examples include “If everyone become,” “this country can not be develop,” and “they can not be responsible for there responsibilities.” Verb forms, subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries are often inaccurate, while several long sentences join multiple ideas without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with one controlled subordinate clause. Check agreement and verb forms, such as “everyone becomes” and “the country cannot develop.”
