Student answer (Band 5.5)
This is ongoing debate, the working weeks should be shorter and the employees want extra days for weekend.
Overall, the employees are frustuate with work because of long working days that's the reason they want shorter working days. I agree with this point because too much busy days makes the man tired for example, if the employee gives their 8 to 10 hours a day and full week this routine make the worker tired and boredom they are no longer creative and productive because full day work has stop to learn new skill they are already tired from work because of this they are less energetic day by day moreover, employee want the less working hours.
On the other hand, some companies just gives the weekend is on sunday this is short period for individual to overcome tiredness and boring routine because one day leave cannot be fix this. In addition, employeer want extra leave for being relax. However, this busy life style is not encouragale for worker to stay connected with company.
I think the organisation make a easy shedules for their people like longer week should be shorter moreover, the hours for working is also be reduce in addition, the firms should be push people to learn new skills that are benfits for both company and worker. The other thing is that the weekend peiod in increase because that is crucial for mental well being and overcome the frustuations.
In conclusion, the full week is reduce to 5 days and also the hours is also less to 7 hours a day. The tour for entertainment places is needed for every person its help for mental health.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that the working week should be shorter, and you give relevant reasons, including fatigue, reduced creativity and the need for time to recover. You also consider the limited benefit of a one-day weekend and suggest a five-day week with shorter daily hours. These points address the task, but some are less fully explained than others. For example, the claim that long hours prevent workers from learning new skills would be stronger with a specific explanation or example. The final suggestion about entertainment venues and mental health is also introduced without showing how it supports your proposed working-week changes. Develop each main reason with a clear example and keep the conclusion focused on your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, supporting paragraphs, a paragraph of recommendations and a conclusion. The contrast signalled by “On the other hand” also helps show a shift in focus. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are joined into long sequences, particularly the explanation beginning “if the employee gives their 8 to 10 hours a day”. Linking expressions such as “moreover” and “in addition” are repeated and do not always show a precise relationship between ideas. Some references, such as “this” in “one day leave cannot be fix this”, are unclear. Give each paragraph one central purpose, use shorter sentences, and make links between claims explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “productive”, “creative”, “mental well being” and “learn new skills”, so the main ideas can generally be understood. However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts of the response less clear. Examples include “frustuate”, “boredom” where an adjective is needed, “easy shedules”, and “the weekend peiod in increase”. Some phrases, such as “busy life style”, are repeated or imprecise. Work on accurate forms and natural combinations—for example, describing employees as “frustrated” and a schedule as “flexible”—and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would help you express the distinctions between working hours, working days and weekend length.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a reason-and-example structure and sentences with “because” and “however”. However, complex sentences are often difficult to control, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries occur throughout. For instance, “some companies just gives” needs subject–verb agreement, while “the hours for working is also be reduce” combines incompatible verb forms. The opening also needs an article and clearer punctuation: “This is ongoing debate” should begin “This is an ongoing debate.” These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas hard to follow. Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine them with conjunctions, checking that each clause has a complete and correctly formed verb.
