Student answer (Band 4.5)
Nowadays, people should work less than holidays. I totally beleive disagree with that statement because workers work for 9 to 5 which means 9 hours and 5 days. It is much longer time than weekend.
On the one side, people worked for five days and nine hours a day, for single day it is enough for a person and weekend is for taking rest or do some other activities. For example, if they should want to attend functions or outing with family or friend circle they must be fixed on weekend because they know our weekend will be free. Some time they try to work in other organization to build their expriences and money as well. So this it is good for them to take free weekend. Some companies pay extra for their work, if they do over time. As a result workers get extra money as well and also stay with same company. Moreover, agency had a limited stock for a week and so they just opened for three or four days.
On the otherside, some workers take longer weekend like four days work and three days off, this is not good with the organizations. For instead, most of workers joined two organizations and do work for three or four days in one company and rest of the days for second. Which is not good for a single corporation because agency need workers and without workers they are unable to do work. As a result, agency opened for limited time and days.
Conclusion, people should work less than holidays, mostly it depends on company and also relief for workers to work it their agency. I beleive that workers should worked in single organisation with high salaries. five days a week and nine hours a day is good to go work.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a view that appears to oppose a shorter working week, and you include relevant points about rest, family activities, overtime pay, and staffing needs. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening says “I totally beleive disagree,” while the conclusion says people “should work less than holidays,” which conflicts with your support for a five-day week. Several points are also difficult to connect to the question, such as agencies having limited stock or workers joining two organisations, and they are not explained with clear examples. To strengthen the response, state your agreement or disagreement directly, maintain that position throughout, and develop two relevant reasons by explaining how a longer weekend would affect workers or employers.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and you use signposts such as “On the one side,” “On the otherside,” and “As a result.” These features give the reader some sense of structure. However, the progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first body paragraph moves from family outings to extra work, overtime, and company stock without showing how each point supports your position. The second paragraph’s claim about workers joining two organisations also needs a clearer link to the effects of a shorter week. Some linking phrases are repetitive or do not accurately signal the relationship between ideas. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it in a logical sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “overtime,” “extra money,” “organizations,” and “salaries,” so the topic is generally identifiable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, such as “work less than holidays,” “for single day,” and “fixed on weekend.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “beleive,” “expriences,” and “otherside.” These issues sometimes make the reader work to understand your intended point. Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing working hours and their effects, and check spelling carefully. For example, use “a shorter working week,” “spend time with family,” and “remain with the same employer” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “if,” and “which,” and some meaning can be followed. However, control is uneven, particularly in longer sentences. Examples include “if they should want to attend functions … they must be fixed on weekend” and “most of workers joined two organizations and do work,” where clause structure, tense, and articles are not handled accurately. The conclusion also shifts between “should work” and “should worked.” These errors sometimes obscure relationships between ideas, although the basic message remains partly understandable. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, and check verb forms, articles, and singular/plural agreement.
