Student answer (Band 5.0)
The working week should be shorter and workers should have a longer weekend. In this essay we will disscuss the labour should have a longer weekend. I completely agree with this statement. By this workers do their work with good interest and also try to put more efforts. Also, work routine will not become a burden for them.
Firstly, i believe that working week should be shorter and in end workers should have longer weekend. There are number of advantages if this happens. By these working people can work with more interest and try to put all their efforts into the work. They start working with greater dedication. As a result, they always think about company's growth. For example, a person who works for a company all the days and then in end of the weeekend he gets good holidays so as a result he becomes happy and do his responsibilities more effectively. Moreover, they can spend their quality time with their family members and also can get rid of all worries. In this way, they can't become exhausted or frustrated from their routien. If workers gets longer weekends, they becomes more productive and can performs their duties effectively.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear position—“I completely agree”—and give relevant reasons, including improved motivation, productivity, and time with family. However, the response addresses the task only partially because these points are mostly asserted rather than explained or supported with a convincing example. The example about an employee receiving holidays is unclear and does not show specifically how a shorter working week leads to better performance. The essay also contains only 186 words, excluding the 13 words copied from the prompt, so it is 64 words below the required minimum. Develop each reason with a clear explanation and a specific, relevant example, and add a conclusion that restates your view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: you introduce your agreement and use “Firstly,” “Moreover,” and “As a result” to connect points. The ideas are generally related to the topic, but the response has no clear overall progression beyond a list of benefits, and it ends without a concluding paragraph. Several links are repetitive or unclear; for instance, the claim that workers “think about company's growth” does not clearly follow from the preceding point about dedication. The example is also difficult to follow because its sequence of working “all the days” and then receiving holidays is not clearly expressed. Group related ideas into developed paragraphs, make each link between cause and effect explicit, and use a conclusion to complete the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a small range of relevant vocabulary, including “dedication,” “productive,” “exhausted,” and “frustrated,” which helps communicate the main benefits you have in mind. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repetitive or imprecise, such as “more interest,” “put all their efforts,” and “good holidays.” Some word choices and collocations make the meaning less natural, including “in end of the weeekend” and “get rid of all worries.” There are also spelling errors, such as “disscuss,” “weeekend,” and “routien.” Build a wider set of accurate phrases for discussing work-life balance and productivity, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response relies mainly on simple statements, with a few attempts to connect clauses using “if,” “as a result,” and “so.” These attempts show some range, but complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader pause. For example, “If workers gets longer weekends, they becomes more productive and can performs” has errors in subject–verb agreement and verb form. Other examples include “a person who works … he gets” and “they can't become exhausted,” where pronoun reference or sentence construction is awkward. Capitalisation is also inconsistent, as in “i.” Practise accurate agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence while keeping the structure clear.
