The diagram below shows how a biofuel called ethanol is produced.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The diagram shows production of ethanol from different method in factory.

Overall, the process start from growing plants and trees and produce sunlight and energy from plants and trees. After growing plant and trees the process of harvesting is continue. While it take place in pre processing in this way during pre processing cellulose take seprate in smal pores from plants and send it for next processing.

Next process start from processing it create sugar and mix with microbes to produce ethanol. After producing it send in different countries and different places through aeroplanes and trucks and cars. These transport can create carbon dioxide and again sunlight and carbondioxide give energy to plants and trees. Hence, pre processing start and to produce biofule called ethanol.
