The diagram below shows how a biofuel called ethanol is produced.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illustrates the process of biofuel production as well as how ethanol is made from it.

To begin with, sunlight and carbon dioxide are made energy which is used to grow plants as well as trees. After that, it goes to for harvesting process, where pre-processing is started by machine and get small piece of material.

In the next step, the process of making cellulose from tiny piece of plants and trees. Subsequently, chemical reaction is began to make this solid part into liquid form. Then, sugars reactant is appear and microbes added to get complete ethanol. Additionally, this biofuel is used in cars, trucks and airlines. In contrast, this vehicles are dispose the carbon dioxide which spread in environment and aid to get energy.

Overall, this procees consists of seven steps. In the begining, plants and tress grow by consuming energy from environment then go for the harvesting process, while ending with microbs added to sugars to get ehtanol and this biofuel used in several vehicles.
