The diagram below shows how a biofuel called ethanol is produced.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The given diagram illustrate the process that how a bio fuel called Ethanol is being made. Firstly, it starts with harvesting the plants. the farmers first harvest the plants and then and put it in the processing machine and make it a cellulose, in this process the excessive carbon dioxide also released in the air. After that, the cellulose is being processed from a chemical reaction in the lab and sugar is extracted from it. afterwards some microbes are added in the extracted sugar, the we produced our main product "Ethanol" from this process. this Ethanol is being used in the vehicles and also in air planes for the best performance of their engines. when these vehicles released carbon dioxide in the air, this is carbon dioxide is again absorbed by plants. plants after getting the direct sunlight and carbon dioxide grow again. the the complete cycle is again repeated. in this way can easily produced Ethanol by harvesting the plants.
