The diagram below shows how a biofuel called ethanol is produced.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The given diagram represents how the process calls biofuel called ethanol is produced.

To begin with, firstly energy helps in this process with mixture of sunlight and carbon dioxide with the help of this energy, plants and trees grows further, these plants and trees are harvested with the help of modern equipment called 'tractor'. After it is transported for pre-processing from it cellulose substance is extracted and sent for processing from which sugars are only sent further.

More over, Microbes are added with sugars to form the final substance 'Ethanol' which is further used in various vehicles such as car, truck and aeroplane, those all vehicals extract carbon dioxide while using it which is eventually used in first step with sunlight to grow trees and plants.

Overall, the production process of Biofuel called ethanol is neverending as long as energy is present and carbon dioxide is again use in first step and it is extracted in last step.
