Student answer (Band 6.5)
In recent years, there has been a growing concept of saving money. It is believed by many, that saving money for the future is crucial for all, including the youngsters. I largely agree that money secured for future years could make life much easier in later stages, as it provides financial stability for a short run and financial freedom on a longer run. It also helps to develop a positive financial management mindset.
Firstly, Saving money at early age provides a positive money managemnt mindset. A young student, who learnt to save money at the early age, will develop a habit of saving money. Therefore he/she do not spend foolishly on extrvagence, on the contarary, he spend only on basic needs and keep the rest aside, even if it is a small amount of money.
Secondly, saving money particularly in young age helps to build financial stability during the emergency situations. As,our lives are fragile, and we are living in an uncertain time.Anything can happen with anyone at anytime so preparing for unceratin situation leads to less choas. For example ,if a person has lost his job or there is an emergency situation in family, the person could spend the saved amount without taking any loan.Hence he/she will not loose his confidence and will keep his calm even in the crisis.
Thirdly, secured money early offers financial freedom at older age. When people grow older they will not be as fit as they used to be and they may not be able to work and earn. At this phase of life they might need regular hospital check-ups , medicins or in some cases they require a full time care giver, which is expensive. For thsi stage of life, if person has saved sufficient money from young age he may no longer live in pity and will live hsi older age with much confidence and ease.
In conclusion, youngsters who save money for their future will experience a sense of stability and freedom throughout their life and they may be able to handle any money related emergency with greate confidence.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you largely agree, and you maintain this view in the conclusion. The response addresses the prompt with three relevant reasons—developing saving habits, preparing for emergencies, and supporting oneself in later life. The examples of job loss and healthcare needs help explain why savings matter, and the main ideas are extended sufficiently to support your argument. To strengthen the response further, make some claims more precise and less general. For instance, the suggestion that a young saver will spend only on basic needs is too absolute; acknowledge that saving can be balanced with reasonable spending. You could also explain more specifically how young people can begin saving when their income is limited.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The essay has a clear overall progression: an introduction states your position, three body paragraphs develop separate reasons, and the conclusion restates the central view. Sequencing signals such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Thirdly” make the structure easy to follow, while “For example” introduces relevant support. The links between ideas are generally clear, and each paragraph has a recognisable focus. At times, however, the linking is somewhat formulaic, and some sentences run together, particularly in the emergency paragraph. Use punctuation to separate complete ideas, and vary transitions by showing the relationship more precisely—for example, contrast, consequence, or illustration—rather than relying mainly on ordinal markers.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “financial stability,” “financial freedom,” “emergency situations,” and “money management mindset.” These phrases help communicate the main points, but the range and control are limited by repeated or imprecise wording and several spelling errors. Examples include “extrvagence,” “unceratin,” “medicins,” and “choas”; such errors are noticeable and can briefly distract the reader. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “financial stability for a short run” and “live in pity.” Aim to learn common collocations as complete phrases and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would make your argument sound clearer and more natural without requiring unusually advanced vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if a person has lost his job” and a relative clause in “A young student, who learnt to save money…”. However, errors occur frequently and sometimes make sentences difficult to process. For example, “Therefore he/she do not spend” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “if person has saved” is missing an article. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention: “situations. As,our lives…” joins ideas incorrectly, and several sentences lack spaces after full stops. Practise checking agreement, articles, and complete sentence boundaries, then read each paragraph aloud to identify where a sentence needs to end or be restructured.
